Meet Barkha, she debuted on the small screen with Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi, a Balaji Telefilms offering and now she is just as energetic and excited about her role in Pyar Ka Do Naam... under the famous banner - Rajshri.

What does love mean for you?
Love to me is to be very honest with your loved one. One must be selfless and I think it is destiny if you get a person like that. I believe in destiny.

Do you believe in love at first sight?
No… I think it is superficial!

If not an actor, what would you have been?
I would have been happliy married!

Your favourite food and holiday destination
I love Italian food… I like cheezy stuff! (laughs). And my favourite holiday destination will always be Goa.

Where do you see yourself, a decade from now?
I hope I will still be acting! Though I will be married by then. I am getting married by the yearend to Karan Singh whom I met in Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi, two years ago.

Are Jenny and Karan a couple?

Jennifer and Karan Singh have been spotted at night clubs and restaurants, although the couple claim to be 'just good friends'

Karan Singh's split with his long-time girlfriend Barkha Bisht made headlines some time ago. Now the buzz goes that Karan has found love again. He is allegedly dating Jennifer. Jenny (as she is fondly called) and Karan play the on-screen couple in Kasauti Zindagi Kay. "Karan and Jenny were very comfortable with each other right from day one," said a co-actor.

Apparently, it was Jenny who lent Karan her shoulder to cry on after he broke up with Barkha. It was probably at that time that they realised what they share isn't mere friendship. People have seen Jenny and Karan walking into various restaurants, holding hands, having quiet dinners.

We spoke to Karan about the new woman in his life. "Jenny is special. She is one of the greatest people I've known. I do confide in her, as she is a great friend. As of now, it's too early for me to fall in love again. I've just broken up and that has caused me a lot of pain," said Karan.

But is there a possibility of this 'friendship' developing into a deeper relationship in future? Currently, it's just Jenny who is shooting for Kasauti... Karan's track in the show is over for now. "Karan is a dear friend and off late he is going through a lot of stress. As a friend, I'm always there for him. I know about Barkha and Karan's break-up. In fact Karan told me that Barkha is dating Indraneil Sengupta, her co-star in Pyar Ke Do Naam Ek Radha Ek Shyaam. I guess people are talking about us because we're both great friends and, above all, we're single," says Jennifer. Karan says that losing his love to another man hasn't disillusioned him about love.

"I still believe in love. I know that it takes time to get over a relationship. But life has to go on," he says pragmatically. Eyewitnesses have spotted the Karan and Jennifer together at various night clubs and parties.

Now, some sad news. Hot and happening couple Barkha Bisht (Radha in Pyaar Ke Do Naam) and Karan Singh (Sharad in Kasauti Zindagi Kay) have parted ways after a long relationship. Although breaking up isn't new in the industry, their split raised a few eyebrows as both looked deeply in love until a while ago. The grapevine even suggests there is something brewing between Barkha and her co-star . When we asked her about this, she obviously denied it saying, "Whenever you are out of any relationship, people try and link you with your current co-star. Indraneil and I share a special relationship, and spend up to 14 hours a day on the sets." Well, whatever you say, Barkha. But do tell us about the surprise birthday party you threw for Indraneil recently.

Love is waking up every morning and smiling, knowing that you have somebody in your life no matter how wrong your life is going.

Karan Singh is the love of my life and pretty much my world right now. We met while shooting for Kitni... where he was playing the main lead and now he is doing Kasauti... I have known him for almost two years but love happened just a few months back. Since he is shooting round the clock with Balaji he is forever busy but whenever we can I like to go out for quiet dinners and movies with him.


I have lots of memories of Kasauti…
Kasauti Zindagi Kay has been one of my favourite shows and I have adored Prerna as a character and I think Shweta is an excellent actress. She may not be my inspiration but when I used to see her I used to feel that I should do something like this. Since I like both the characters, Prerna and Anurag when I got to work with Shweta and Cezanne I was so much in awe... both of them gave me so many inputs. Shweta would guide me on my clothes, my make up, my expressions and I was very close to the entire Kasauti... team - all the mamis and chachis included. When I finally got a lead they were all very happy and congratulated me. Karan tells me Shweta even watches my show and likes to see me doing so well... she even tells me that I look like her when she was young but apparently I am one year older to her.


My co-star in Pyaar Ke Do Naam… Indraneil was extremely snobbish –
I had seen him as a model but I met him for the first time for the look test and he looked really snobbish. Few days before the outdoors he would sit in one corner while all of us would sit and eat together However when we went outdoors he started talking – perhaps he had no other choice.

I then discovered that he is not really a snob but an extremely sweet guy who is very reserved with very strong feelings about who he likes and doesn't like. He is very intelligent, friendly and a thorough professional who makes me very comfortable when we have romantic scenes. It is his first attempt on Television and he is extremely psyched about a lot of things but he is very funny and makes me really laugh at all the times

i think dat barkha is pretty much a wierdo !!!! i remember in nach baliye 3 sum actress ( who was asked 2 cum on da show n comment on dere relation .... bharka n inderneil's ) was like oh inderneil is sooo much in luv wit barkha he does nething she asks him 2 do .... barkha inderneil ko kehti hai uth jao toh woh uth jata hai .. she asks him 2 sit n he sits ... she asks him 2 dance n he starts dancing for her !!!! watching dis i was like Whoa barkha ko boyfriend kum aur kutta zaada chaheye ..... sumone who wud do nething for her ... nething she asks dem 2 do !!!! am glad karan's not wit her nemore .. gud riddance 2 bad rubbish
