'Aamir's' Unfortunate Fate?!?

I read a few articles on here that Aamir is a super hit, I was personally thrilled to hear that!!! I haven't watched the movie yet...actually here is an article about the condition of Aamir and Sarkar Raj at the box office. Quite sad 😭



Im just gonna post part of the article because the first half is all about Sarkar Raj...



With SARKAR RAJ on one hand and heavy rains lashing various parts of the country on the other, AAMIR faced the heat at the ticket window. Everyone who watched the film couldn't stop raving about it, but the lavish praises didn't translate into great collections. Now that's truly unfortunate!

At least AAMIR won critical acclaim, HUMSEY HAI JAHAAN never won any acclaim from both, the critics as also the moviegoers. In this case, the collections were in hundreds, no even thousands. Knowing the mindset of the exhibitors, this film wouldn't be complete even a 1-week run at the ticket window at several screens.

Its sad how despite great reviews from the critics and audience Aamir isn't doing well....

The first week collection of aamir has been close to 85,00,000
which i feel is quite good, bcoz the movie has not released throughout india yet, n is beeing screened only in few theatres,

heres the link, aamirs collection has improved further, and i read in another article, that it has fetched around 85,00,000 till today

lemme correct u dear the first week collection of amir is round bt 1.5 cr which is very near to its budget...its avg per print is 85,00,00..tht too exclusive of 24 mumbai theaters and completely substracting those 0of chennai n bangalore where the movie is doing a housefull business

The film opened with decent openings but with intense word of mouth promotion and fantastic songs went on to build a strong reputation on the box office over the weekend itself. With immensely positive reviews it went on strong after the first week. During the second week it garnered a near house full viewership.
