We have always came across that Dashrath never had a daughter hence he loved all his daughter-in-laws very much as if they were his own daughters and so did the 3 wives of him!! well dashrath give shanta to his frnd to adopt later she marry sage and yes ram and all his bro meet shanta .shanta story is shown in south version of ramayana
