I think so too. The slow down and mess they made since the Roop Revelation is very apparent. A week has maybe 1-2 nice episodes Baaki Sab is usually Gud Gobar.

Even the 5 days a week thing hasn't helped them in writing decent content rot.

Even with 5 days a week if they're going to keep giving three filler episodes, the show's going to tank. The whole "once a precap is shown in the main episode, the next precap is from 3-4 episodes later" is already so infuriating.

Bas Jeet ko bade bade dialogues deke nipta dete hai, aur show ke writing mein ek take ka sudhar nahi hota.

The lack of Saumya's POV irked me so much, and today, it irked me even more that there was one because it wasn't hers, really. It was her POV, of course, but it was an internal reaction to her parents' conversation, not her own feelings or what she's going through.

In fact, Krish pointed it out today. Literally spelled it out for her that she's refusing to see what she feels or thinks.

Par Saumya madam is too traumatized to even think about herself until Anoop and Madhu stop with their stupid "woe is us" jaap. Arre beti ke saath bure hua and they're like, "Oh! The pain we're going through." Beti ka toh socho!

Haan Krish bheja hi gaya hai is dharti pe to get Saumya to realize she's a girl who is supposed to have feelings.

You know that's why the narrative feels disjointed. In the starting epis- they used to map out Saumyas feelings pretty well. She's had these POVs where she's wondered koi apna sab bhool kar Aapki itni madad kare- woh kya ban jaata hai? And then the scene with Pakhi in the market where she's looking at mirrors and wondering about all these new feelings she has.

And all that she felt during Mata Chowki or even when she went to meet Jeet at the garage where she realized he's doing this supreme sacrifice for her.

Like yes I feel for this girl (how can you not) - but they are using her SA as a plot device. Jab Mann kare feelings dikha do, jab Mann kare Papa Jaap shuru Karwa lo.

Super inconsistent in how they are writing her.

And Saumya is super deluded. If she thinks any "senior" will do whatever Jeet is doing for her for any "junior". Guy has taken severe beatings both verbally and physically and landed up in jail for her! Arre don't realize your feelings- but don't do this disservice by not even acknowledging that he's a friend!

Kabhi kitaab kholke padhe about the psychology of a woman and an SA survivor, tab jaake kuch dhang ka likhenge na. They know what a woman might feel for a man, but they are consistently failing at what a healing woman would think about a man.

Aur editing itni kharab hai ki accha likha hua bhi kachra hojata hai.

Editing toh first day se hi abysmal hai. Sometimes I'm thrown off scenes kyunki they can't even get one random character to maintain their position in the background. Banda kab left se right ho jaye- koi hisaab nai.

I'm telling you. SA is now being ONLY used to delay the onset of the love story. Love story shuru kar dete toh aage ka Inko khud nai pata kya dikhana hai.

Hence all the Hype on potential "first touch", "first hug" "first motorbike ride together after Jeet adds a seat" etc etc. carrot ki Tarah dangle kar rahe hain audience ke samne ek dum.

And audience is lured in. Kal jaise Saumya was breathless for a second when she though Jeet was about to touch her to remove her wrist from Sarthaks grip- Audience bhi breathless thi Bilkul

Ok as an aside- very rarely have I come across ITV actors who can excel in multiple departments. The very few shows I watched and liked/ the leads were good at showing certain facets of their characters personality but not necessarily good at every emotion. Someone does romance brilliantly but they may suck at showing raw vulnerability. Someone who cries nicely may not be good at comic timing and so on and so forth.

Ishan so far is just doing a super commendable job. Whatever he is offering to Jeets character- is exemplary. He does action really well - with lots of aura farming lol and Jo bhi romantic looks diye hai achchi intensity ke saath diye. Comic timing is awesome. And today he did really well in showing raw emotion. And what a beautiful crier as well. I'm super impressed with his versatility and range.

Yehi aata hai inn logon ko.

The whole show is riding on "hold onto your seats" and "coming soon" but everything they serve is just thanda and pheeka.

Itna paka rahe ki jab milega yeh sab, tab tak aadhi audience shayad ghum ho gayi hogi.

I wasn't even waiting with a bated breath when they showed the closeup of their hands. I knew yeh banda scrunchie he pakdega.

I'm ok with no thanks. Thoda self introspection and realization milta woh kaafi tha. But mila kya? Papa ki khushi and Papa ki Puran.
