SRK didn't know beforehand... it was a well calculated 'surprise'... it already seems to be sadly ridiculous...

SRK and Nagarjuna should not let their ego walk into a room before the success of their movies. Both King and King 100 are going to come out as losers.

SRK had his chance to move before King 100 announced it's date, now if he moves people will say he got scared of Nagarjuna. Also why would Nagarjuna pick the same day as King, it seems like a really dirty play.

All I can say, I don't have a skin in the game and I am already entertained lol

People are not fools to believe SRK postponed because of Nagarjuna movie. Nagarjuna in telugu itself is past his prime and is not going to make much impact in the box office.

Dune 3 is my most expected movie of the year, however, dune 3 is also not going to affect Srk's King. It is doomsday which he needs to be worried of and in all probability he will move his movie to a later date.

He didn't know about King 100?

I believe he didn't know about King 100 and them scheduling the film against King is really unprofessional and dirty, also it is a stupid release date because December is already packed with big releases.

SRK may very well have known that Nagarjuna makes a big movie, but the title announcement and also the release date had been published on Nagarjuna's birthday only (29th of August, 67 years old now)...

At least, both the movies get talked about.

At the end, the 'overload' of movies on Christmas may not happen... as always: we will see smiley2

It costs a fortune in India thesesays for a family to catch a movie at the theatre. The traffic on top of it. It would be dumb of these producers release all those at once. The ' I don't watch Bollywood movies ' crowd would go to watch the Marvel one. King people should have aimed for a Diwali release.

I neither can imagine any win-situation for the Indian movies... already when King's release date got announced... even more now with this situation. However, I think that even the big US movies clashing at that time is a bad move from their side, too. Just because there are more workfree days would not guarantee more audience going to the movies...especially not in India with those high prices which have become a standard for the 'event'-movies.

SRK will buy the initial tickets like he did with Pathaan and Jawan. Still, it seems pretty risky though with the Hollywood releases.

bold = No, there is absolutely no proof that SRK or his production house bought the initial tickets to artificially pump up the box office numbers for Pathaan or Jawan. Trade experts, box office analysts, and journalists have repeatedly confirmed that the collections for both films were entirely genuine. The massive ₹1,000+ crore global earnings for both movies were driven by organic fan demand, packed theaters, and historic advance ticket sales.

It's just a 'fan-war' thing or a SRK-disliker allegation.
