Meanwhile for this one off day...

Trivia 2-- Did you know that in 1919,; Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute (BORI) decided to compile a Critical edition of Mahabharat

They collected all the available manuscripts of Mahabharat from across the country (and outside from Nepal, Indonesia etc) total numbering to over 1200 manuscripts and did a verse by verse comparison to determine which verses have the highest chances of being in the original.

It took them around 50 years and the final Critical edition of Mahabharat was published in 1966.. This is considered the most authentic Mahabharat as of now.

The critical edition has been translated to English by Bibek Debroy...

Mr. Debroy also translated Critical edition of Valmiki Ramayana later...

Congratulations for successfully crossing the barrier of previous.. But here awaits for you the actual Naad of this Duel ....

I mean the Shabdanaad of this Pathshala

Don't worry it's a simple round, you just need to fill in the below crossword basis the clues given..

Image

  • This is your game and your game alone. That means, you shouldn't discuss the clues or helping each other! Anyone caught cheating will get disqualified. This is to make it fair for other members who are working alone.
  • The clues given in this posmat are your only clues to fill in the responses. The answers could be either a person/name or something related to the epic
  • Just to clarify, in the above Shabdanaad, the boxes where number is mentioned isn't a part of the crossword
  • In addition, participants can ask for 2 extra clues (either for 2 different questions or for one question) with each extra clue costing them 1 points. Each incorrect answer will cost your 1 point. Each correct answer will give you 5 points. There will be no affect on your score due to an unanswered point.
  • Any general queries regarding the quest can be asked in this thread.
  • Once you have completed , PM the filled in Shabdanaad snapshot to me FlauntPessimism before the deadline with the subject "Round 4 Answers".
  • Round 4 will end on 14th September at 11:59 AM IST.
