@ Bold: I didn't want to say this cause it could jinx it and all, but honestly this is the only way forward that would make sense. If they really want to turn Roop into an ITV villain then have him come back as a villain later on to try and separate Jeet and Saumya. But right now there doesn't seem a right way forward with him there consistently. No one is going to move forward and the story will stagnate as well.

Plus they also need to turn their attention to Jeet's story and Saumya helping Jeet forward. Jeet did his bit by being Saumya's strength and support, but now it needs to flip on its head.

Ok yay! Im happy if you feel that this could be a real possibility! I totally agree about the show stagnating in the current dynamics. Mathurs need to move back downstairs so that we can have uppar neeche convos between Junior & Senior. And yes track needs to move towards Jeets past! And college please.

@ Bold: It's hard to do that if there is no story. At some point the CVs need to wake up and write a proper story. Sant Jeet and mounphat Somu scenes can only go so far in keeping people'e attention. And, I have a feeling, that whenever TRPs come back they'll realize that as well and then Sitara will start tang aaroing again.

Fair. I mean it's still a fresh show for me so Im still watching. But if they have a forced marriage track or some other randomness or don't pull the story in another direction, I'll be frustrated as well (which I already am to some extent).

@ Bold: Same. I've already started skipping full scenes. I don't know how much longer I'll last. It's why I rather enjoy watching older shows than current stuff. Even repeating shows that I really enjoyed and just watching them multiple times.

Nowadays my guilty pleasure is webseries. Out of every 10 there's at least 1 really good one. Like Operation Safed Sagar recently. Even movies that release directly online are better than theatre movies many times.

On an aside- does anyone else have a problem with Saumyas styling for the wedding related ceremony? In the precap thing she looks fine- she looks herself in the sari.

But that Lehenga looks so over the top for Saumyas character and the styling as well. They could have draped the dupatta more traditionally- it just doesn't fit her character I feel. Remember she's the same girl who went to the tailor in the first episode to make her clothes looser and not fitter. Hair bhi over the top laga. Too much made up man with the waves/curls. I preferred her lose hair for the Mata ki Chowki. That look was different but still had Saumyas essence intact.

Another question- is this production house taking a different strategy visa a vis giving BTS. Hardly any segments or spoilers from SBS/ SBB and the likes. I appreciate that.

TBH, im not a very regular ITV watcher, maybe 1 show comes along in 2-3 years to pique my interest. My problem is when I see a show and I like it, I try to give those actors ka different shows also a chance only to be disappointed LOL.

I think I miss a daily dose of ITV tropes> Like I said I regularly watched a show like this maybe ages ago- so it feels fun to guess and partake in discussions.

One more question- Saumya is the naive one and Jeet is of course the more hardened, worldly wise one.

When do you guys think Jeet with realize his Junior is crushing on him? The guy is pretty sharp - you would think he would have a clue already.
