No I do not agree that the ad went wrong. I did not see the sexualisation. It was a 'created controversy' to hide other imp national news.( That is another topic).

It will always be man vs woman. Indian men can get away with wearing anything they want , yet school Indian women on what to wear or what not to. Indian men have made western wear their go to outfits. For festivals, for weddings, for temple visits, they are seen in western formals yet have the audacity to talk about Indian culture and school women to so called dress appropriately.

And my question remains, who decides which dress is apt and which dress is not??

I did not even pay attention to the clothes until the controversy erupted. And even now, I don't care she wore what she wore. It's just an ad. Nobody is gonna dress like that in real life and even if they do, so be it. Unki marzi.

Also, I don't care about what some incels has to say but how are western formals problematic? Like who even said girls has to wear sari, churidar, or lagenga with buttons up? Like seriously are you arguing knowing fully well what that is actually inappropriate? Anyway! You can carry on. I have already said what I had to about this topic in my main post. Like I said, this is exactly what keep the internet going "arguing" where in real life everyone will dress modestly as per the occasion or at the very least dress decently.

Even what is modest and what is not is subject to interpretation.

According to me western formals at a temple is problematic and it is absolute shame that most Indian men do not wear Indian traditional clothes to temples.

she is an actress. actresses wear clothes like that. and it was all acting. it was not actual Rakhi ceremony. so whats the big deal? this hindu-muslim thing is a joke. Muslims are anyway too regressive. Hindus need to stop competing with them. or they will become regressive too like this stupid ad controversy.

its just a stupid hindu-muslim thing. they are saying if someone did that with muslim festival then what? Hindus suddenly want to become regressive like Muslims. even a five year old knows how regressive is that religion.
