Okay...I went into Toxic with absolutely no expectations and came out stunned... and honestly, a little shaken.

Is the film flawless? No. It has its share of flaws, ..especially in its editing, first half was almost too self-indulgent when they fell in love with their own creation to edit anything ...which is so disappointing and some of the unnecessary Kgf hangover swag , dialogues and stylised action were not at all required..it is exhausting...They tried to pack so much in first half that it became tiring later...But the subject it explores stayed with me long after the film ended.

Because at its core, Toxic is about something so deeply human...Beneath all the violence and spectacle, it is simply about people trying to live with the things they cannot undo..

That is what stayed with me about Toxic.

It isn't a perfect film...In fact it demands a lot of patience, faith ....

But Raya's story? That broke something ....

And Yash... He was pure unhinged fire 🔥 🔥.... specially in the last stretch...He has such powerful screen presence...He doesn't even have to say much...his eyes, his body language, that sheer intensity… the frame belongs to him the moment he appears...I enjoyed him a lot..

He made me feel for a man I would definitely be terrified to meet in real life...

And Nayanthara's Ganga is beautifully layered...flawed, protective, sometimes misguided, but strong woman in every sense...Nayanthara brings such power, dignity and vulnerability to this character...

And Kiara brings such warmth and quiet strength to Nadia...Her performance at places has a streak of madness in it that elevates her performance...Kiara added such beautiful depth to Nadia. ❤️ She brought out her strength, vulnerability, warmth and the quiet heartbreak beneath it all...

Both of them deserve appreciation for leaving strong impact in a movie where their screen space is limited....

And one of the most important aspect is unlike lots of recent big budget movies...here the money spent can be seen on screen..It is visible that the makers have gone all out taking care of every details in every frame...Have really spent money on the project itself...

So it's a movie with immense potential...So many interesting ideas to explore...such in depth character studies ...but I wish they had executed it better and coherent manner....Ahh .... it's frustrating when we think of what a masterpiece it could have become....

I can understand why people have issues with it... This movie deserves criticism for how it misses the mark with so much potential...but I genuinely think such loud hatred is something that is boggling my mind...like why???

They have definitely tried something bold and noir...

So those who wanted to watch the movie and now are getting cold feet bcz of the negetivity well.. you can go but remember to keep patience...

I would say...I don't regret at all... after watching the movie and spending my time on this cinema...

Going for tonight show. Will talk about it. Without seeing, writing it off is not appreciative.
