Can be argued there is a grain of truth in that pov. On the other hand, cant say the writers have thought through it too - that this can be one implication of that move. But... who knows? May be they do resolve the misunderstanding before the promo scene.

Actually if I may butt into the convo, cvs will look to stretch the drama till trps make a comeback.. otherwise the current tracks look likely to continue... no matter how out of character everyone is made to behave.

Believe the show completely lost track after the divorce.. (for me) and after RB's proposal (for you). Now cvs don't know what to do with half the characters.. that's why new tracks are being brought in without proper resolution or closing the loopholes.

For instance... Chandrabaga has completely lost her purpose.. God knows why she is forcibly being inserted to play a role that BM ideally should have played. Her excuse of revenge for her son is piss poor.

Appu is shown toxic.. liking RB when he insults and dismisses her than when he was supportive. Now she lies and hides truths too.. RB insults and doesn't want to get to the bottom of the matter.. he was never like this. God knows how his mother is being protected when he still is around Appu for most of his office time.

What's the use of posting such videos on Independence when A's journey has completely been flipped upside down by having her fall for RB?

She doesn't have flashbacks, nor panic attacks nor indecision regarding her past marriage.. ab loub jo hua hain.

Also frankly I don't see ANY sort of independence if she marries RB...when you have vile, regressive mentality mothers like S and M..

Love for RB and marriage had to happen. But the transition could've been managed better.

Independence can be defined as freedom to choose. She is choosing RB for her future. Malti may disagree - may say I made A choose him... so the freedom is arguable too. But.. she is the one who talked about creating circumstances to get to the result, which other characters now follow. We've seen a character getting annoyed that the 'husband' who married her forcefully gave her 'freedom' on independence day and agreed to his request of staying put until he figures out all the alphabets between i and u. So... independence has to be redifined for FL characters.

Anything about the past - even the writers have forgotten it for quite some time, except for the ex-mil showing up some times for some reason.

Is anyone else finding the story at the moment haphazard and quite messy? I don’t really know what direction they’re trying to get at. There’s a lot going on but not much actual progress. There’s a lot of open plots but they’ve chosen to progress plots which I don’t think the audience really care (I don’t care) much about (like plots about Aaru- maybe they’re just going to turn her into a supervillain against A).

The new recap isn’t really that exciting to me at all- Rakshit was quite clear he wasn’t going to marry Ira, so why bring this up again so quickly and this time he agrees…? I’m guessing Ira did A’s presentation in her absence and did really well and hence all the praise she’s getting…? I really don’t have any interest in watching A cry over Ira drama right now. She has way too many other things on her hands than cry over a family’s bad decisions.

I do like fierce A though, glad R got to see it. Just hope she doesn’t lose this side of her conveniently to make room for more frustrating plots

Think the main story now is around making A realise she loves R and the rest of it is noise (more like a din / fog). I haven't watched an ep since the divorce case and only kept myself updated through some clips and the daily updates here. So, I am likely to miss many nuances.

The writers do have the habit of taking a character to (illogical) extreme. They did it with Malti and are doing it with Aaru. Sudha follows the same path with her insistance that R marry Ira - perhaps justifying his change in decision to what he heard A say in the confrontation today. Long back I did expect R to go into the nuptials / rituals so that he can make A confess - quite possible he is following that path now. I dont think the precap shown will play out the same way in the actual ep. It can even be R's imagination - hoping A will tell him to stop.

Fierce A - yup. Like it too. But those will just be short term scenes.

True, A realising her love for R does seem like the main plot. The journey to her actually finally accepting it is going to be painful, I can already tell

If Rakshit found out about her feelings before she does and gets to have some fun with it, actually wouldn’t be the worst plot in my opinion. He has suffered a lot with the one sided love and A’s sometimes quite brutal friendzoning (I mean fair on her part given what she’s gone through!!!) but would not be super happy with the idea of him using Ira without her knowing/permission. That would just be mean

But as you said, never trust these promos. What they show and what really happens can be worlds apart. We’re just going to have to see how the writers continue to twist the story.

(also, I think I also need to stop watching for a bit. Should wait for a bank of episodes to come through and then just binge watch it or else I’m getting frustrated, forgetting this is an ITV!!!)

Story was messy after the time Appu won the competition (for Adiandsid) and after the divorce for me.

Don't know why Rakshith agreed to marry Ira.. but most likely may be to do with latest 16th Aug epi (from what I understood from online spoilers) 1 dialogue from Appu when she confronts Aaru in front of the family..

She says (in reference to 3 year relationship of Rohan-Aaru) why should he (Rohan) put his love for Aaru which is 3 years old and who doesn't love him back above his love for his mother which is 25 years old. And Rakshith is present to hear this dialogue

Most probably he uses this dialogue to his situation.. his love for Appu is 3 months old and cannot be placed above his love for Sudha which is 35 yrs old.. hence he gives in to her choice of Ira for him.

Of course.. I can be totally wrong. But this is what I deduced from what was discussed in today's episode.

A is her 2.0 version only with her ex Lalit, RB and her siblings.. nobody else. Also it seems A didn't finish her presentation.. ran and drove RB's car (of all things) to get him to be a mute statue to her family drama... so much saaacriffice for his mother's health.. baaaapre..

Genuinely, the mothers of this serial are the true villains. Not excited to see what mess A’s mum is waiting to do next. Why was she dressed up as a man in blue uniform in the BTS?

How long do you guys think it will take till Rakshit finds out about his mum’s fake heart attack and sick acting? My guess is they’re going to stretch this one out sadly- another 50 eps?

Also, who is this hoodie man? Surely it’s the Mohit actor But probably not him…? Still think that IT guy is involved. Probs the track I’m most curious about right now
