Age difference between Ishaanika

At the start it was said there is a age difference of 11 years between Ishaanika. Now the makers are giving the dialogues saying Ishaan is half of her age. Makers, my humble request - Please stick or maintain the first statement to avoid inconsistency.

Maybe because the new Ishaan looks much younger than her.

Yes, but they should stick to the theme.

Why this big age difference in the 1st place? I wonder how can a woman look at a guy of her children's age in any other way than a mother to her son.

The point is they made the age difference of 11 half of the girl's age. Yes, even an 11-year age difference is too much. However, changing the 11-year age difference to double the age is unconvincing.

Yes. Changing the age difference midway isn't needed and doesn't go well with the original plot. Plus the actress doesn't look that old. I remember watching an old show starring Sanjeeta Gosh and Ruslan Mumtaz.. there the big age difference was convincing.

Yes, the actress doesn't look old. In the real life, the age difference between her and Rohit is only a matter of 3 months. And even Krishna Kaul is only 3 years younger to her which is manageable.

Another thing which makes it less convincing is that in real life too famous couples with big age differences like: Amrita/Saif, Urmila/Mohsin marriages ended in divorce.

Even today marriages with huge age difference takes place in the village side. Girls marry a guy whose age is double. But it's never the other way round, unlike the celebrities.

Even here in my country girls marry guys who are 10 yrs or more older. There are lots of reasons. But if a woman marries a guy who is much younger than she , she'll become the talk of the town.
