Neither ruling party nor opposition nor local parties are ever gonna agree to this. They all want to continue looting for as long as they are alive.

But yes, in general I feel there should be a mandatory age limit for retirement for politicians. It would open up space for young leaders and some fresh ideas for governance.

yes and the age thing is constitutional. they cannot just change the constitution in one day. so it is hopeless. they should have thought about it while making the constitution.

The makers of the constitution may have had the wisdom of age in mind, not the continued greed or the flaws of age...

Well you could see many non indians keeping tab on indian matters and discussing with so much glee hoping india become as democratic n secular as nepal, bagladesh or pakistan...

I don't think you could stop anyone from commenting on the internal matters of any country or religion on online portals.

It hurt you because he commented on your religion perhaps and you are ok outsiders commenting on indian political matters...so it's really hypocritical to call out one person and keep mum on others for poking their nose where it actually doesnt belong.

No one and nothing is fair when it comes to spreading hate online for others country or religion. Everyone speaks for/agaisnt as per tgeir own convenience. Right?

I don't think everyone is being selective. I am sure the loudest voices on here from around the world have spoken about the azad Kashmir protests which has been going on for months in agaisnt pakistani gov and I like to believe these people are truly humanist and wouldn't have looked away from the suffering of innocent kashmiris at the hands of military dictatorship. This is afterall a thread for the citizens rights and it isn't limited to India only.

If political atrocities are being discussed in a bolkywood related thread that doesnt give anyone any excuse to not raise their voices against other parts of the subcontinent.

I understand that pakistani citizens are not allowed to raise their voices against their own gov on their own forums but they can very well discuss about what they are facing in their own country in this forum which has given them the platform to raise their voice internationally for their gov to take them seriously and they must have been doing it right here in this thread I am sure of them since I haven't read the entire thread.and I am sure indian counterparts are equally supportive of their plight.

So let's not accuse anyone of selective activism.
