If this is Mazha Thorum Munpe remake, it will be so funny. The original writer explained the show as being without OTT clothes or makeup and very realistic. The OG show is slow and honestly depressing, but it is very beautiful - genuinely great cinematography, dialogues, background score, acting etc. Here, just the promo shows Rashmi in glitzy clothes. The Mallu version shows realistically upper-middle class or rich people and normal poor people. It’s based on a written work and the screenplay is written by the same writer and it shows. I have no expectations for an arthouse kinda feature in Hindi because it isn’t very TRP friendly.
