I think we are past the age of hyperbolic marketing terms like “most expensive film ever made..”, “indias first blah”, “ India’s answer to blah”, ….its wayy too much pressure and expectations from such phrases ….same happened with all the pan India nonsense
Sharing the budget is like shooting urself in the foot coz people have a direct metric now to assess if it’s collecting enuff or is worth the investment
So is this strategy of pr and marketing persons being invited to a trailer that will only be available publicly after a week….all they want is the hype without the critique …and the usual audience who haven’t signed ndas or contracts have no obligations will rip it apart if it’s not up to mark….having that week of people hyping it up seems to be for their own fragile ego boost than hype creation….hype is an organic response to ur content ….not manufactured
