Oh, I easily 'buy' the "spectacular" and similar praise... I certainly will watch it - just for this 'spectacular' - regardless if I'll like the rendition of the Ramayana... cinema also has become a matter of technical art and fortunately, there are still r e a l actors playing the characters.

In the contrary, making money through the comic is another of those things that 'turns me off'... there are many comics narrating the Ramayana... I don't need a "Namit Malhotra" one (*shudder*)...
