Is a Woman "Public Property"? Time to End This Toxic Mindset

Adnaan Shaikh's comparison of divorced and widowed women to "public property" is not merely controversial, it is abusive, dehumanizing, and an insult to every woman's dignity, it is a deeply misogynistic and dehumanizing statement that has no place in a civilized society.
Her marital status never determines a woman's dignity, identity, and worth. Whether she is single, married, divorced, or widowed, she deserves the same respect, autonomy, and human dignity. Reducing women to objects or implying that they become "public property"
or lose their value after divorce or widowhood reinforces dangerous stereotypes that have harmed generations of women.
Public personalities carry influence, and with that influence comes responsibility. Statements that demean women should be unequivocally challenged, not excused as personal opinion or cultural expression.
The real issue is not the marital status of women.....it is the mindset that treats women as possessions rather than individuals with equal rights and agency. Such thinking belongs in the past, not in modern society, no, not anymore.
What are your views? Should public figures be held accountable for making remarks that degrade women, or should such comments be dismissed as freedom of expression? Of course, I hate such freedom.
It goes straight to the heart of the issue. Misogyny is a mindset, not a momentary slip of the tongue. Such thinking deserves strong condemnation from society, and every woman has every right to challenge it with unwavering resolve. Silence only empowers prejudice, and speaking out is the first step toward change. The public must demand strict punishment for his insulting words, and should unite in demanding strong accountability for his disrespectful remarks.
