This was what all the hoopla was about? All the talk of it being too bold and pushing the envelope and boundaries? This was basically a more sophisticated version of all those 80s kissing scenes when the hero and heroine would hide their faces behind a rose. There wasn’t even a single proper kiss in the entire song. This wasn’t bold or sensual. This was boring and wannabe. The fact that Yash doesn’t have any chemistry with Kaira or Tara is not helping.

The song itself isn’t all that either.

If this is any indication Toxic might end up being a lot of bark and no bite.

When you use the sentence how did he allow her? specifically the use of the word “allow” makes me roll my eyes. It’s the year 2026. Husbands don’t get to “allow” their wives what to do and what not to do.

How does Sid feel or react to these scenes? He’s said it more than once that kissing or close romantic scenes are the least romantic thing you do while shooting because it’s all very technical and choreographed. So he probably doesn’t care.

Yeh aliaa did such scenes in Rocky rani too…no one wrote essays for that

Acting like begum or alia or nayantara are all holier than thou compared to kiara is a vast stretch…begum did such scenes in Heroine, alia in RRkPK, Nayan in vallavan

…it ain’t the first time anyone’s seeing this….and they are just doing their job
