Popping up to say that I’m disappointed. I was beginning to enjoy the Kyunki version of OITNB but then recalled that it ends tonight in barely 2 episodes and a couple of scenes. NGL, would be awesome to get an Indian version of this show.
At this point I just want some coherence and not drama for the sake of drama by imagining that men are snowflakes and women are sacrificial lambs or goddesses who either go to prison and hide the truth about murders or swap babies. Not like Karan isn’t bound to find out the truth someday - after all the thing about truth is that it’s bound to be out someday even if it’s unexpectedly, it’s inevitable.
Now this sacrificial idiocy will probably make things worse not just for this decade and until the truth is out but if the truth is known to some enemy, they’ll use it to do god knows what and also make Karan find it out on their terms and in a way that makes it worse than it already is.
Before Tulsi and Nandini could control the narrative and Karan wouldn’t have been alone while dealing with the biggest losses and trauma of his life - he would have had his wife and mom with him to help him through it, but now he would be absolutely devastated and not want to hear a word from either and one can’t blame him. Man has been kept in the dark for a decade and when he finds out the narrative of that truth can be a lot worse than it could’ve been had the family done the same job.
Let Dev accept his daughter, not like his sperms didn’t decide what he got. Why is Saloni behaving like an uneducated fool? Also, she has a family back in Surat that will support her. So what’s the point of this all?
Honestly, NGL, India needs better shows from a writing standpoint more than anything else. Cast is secondary when the material itself sucks.
