No idea. I haven't read. Just saw it's from the same author who wrote the novel that Love and Redemption is based on

After she joined the army, Legend of the Female General started to feel a bit predictable,

so I lost interest in continuing it.

Could you suggest some other novels besides the ones you already recommended?

I'm looking for costume dramas only

I mean, out of all the novels you recommended, I've only read one so far the Shen Miao one.

I absolutely loved it, and I'm also looking forward to the drama adaptation.

Do you know when filming will be finished?

It feels like all my favorite novel adaptation are going to be released in 2027.

How did you manage to read it?

I thought it would be around 250 to 270 chapters, but it has so many!

Are the chapters short?

I've noticed that, compared to other novels, the chapters in Legend of the Female General (at least as far as I've read) end pretty quickly, so they feel much shorter

Not only LOTFG all QSCK novels start with short chapters for the first 40 to 50 chapters and then she will start cooking you One of her other novels I read 40 chapters in one day only to lag later!

Love of the Divine Tree, Love in the Clouds, and Love beyond the Grave are a good start for Xianxia~

And why do they release the trailer so early?

It's a bit strange.

It would make more sense if they released the trailer just a week before the drama premiered.

That's what happened with Fated Hearts. I was so excited about the drama, but they released it eight months after the trailer.

By then, my excitement had completely faded.

I still watched it, but it just wasn't the same.

During The White Olive Tree, the actors did a lot of promotional events, including appearances on variety shows.

But with Fated Hearts, I barely noticed any promotions at all

Not only costume dramas, all dramas take at least a year to release. They have such complex procedures post production that it takes time.

As I've already mentioned first trailer drops when the drama finishes filming that's how Cent works
