Gautam went to meet Tulsi in prison and asked her what happened, how could she do something so huge all over again. Tulsi however doesn’t say anything. Gautam warns her that she’ll not be in jail for a day or 2 but 10 years and she says she understands that at her age she may die in prison but she’s not going to reveal anything about the incident.

She asks him to take care of SN as the elder one and look after Karan. Gautam mentions that Karan is absolutely devastated as he lost two sons and he’s very sympathetic towards Karan when he says how could he be when he’s lost his own son and the boy he raised as his own. For a father who had to carry the bodies of his two young sons to be cremated, how could he possibly be fine.

Tulsi says exactly, look after him and asks him to make sure no one visits her in prison. Gautam is baffled but gives in.

The family returns home. Karan looks at the two pictures with garlands as he enters the home. A courier boy arrives just then carrying a package meant for Parth. The man wants an OTP, Karan asks him to cancel the order but the man says he needs an OTP from Parth as he can’t cancel the order without it as well and asks Karan to call Parth. The family silently looks on as Karan angrily says he’s dead, my son Parth is dead; do you still want an OTP? The man apologises and leaves.

Gayatri is acting like the paid Rudaali of the family. Dev, Hrithik, Hemant and Pooja arrive at SN. Hemant hugs Karan and cries. Dev looks absolutely wrecked. Hemant says we tried to come here asap but we got late nonetheless and couldn’t see the kids for one last time. Hemant asks for Tulsi and Damini replies she’s been arrested; Hemant says he’s going to bail Tulsi out. Karan stops and says no one will help her, she killed my son. She’s a murderer, she killed her son and now her grandson. She deserves to be in jail.

Dev is talking to Parth’s picture and says what happened, you were in Jamshedpur just yesterday. Karan approaches him and asks what happened, he asks what was Parth like yesterday. Was he depressed, tensed or angry. Dev says he was perfectly fine and happy. Karan starts yelling, then why did she kill my son? Why?

Nandini recalls shooting Parth.

Karan says tell me why both my sons are dead? What happened to them? Dev says he’s doesn’t know anything but Vaishnavi may know something. Karan thinks yes, she can give us some answers. He then says she wasn’t present for the funeral of her husband, she may know something. She’ll tell me what happened.

Karan says my hands have cremated my son, I want to know why was he killed, I need answers. I want answers before their pyres are cooled down and only Vaishnavi can give me answers. He goes looking for her.

Vaishnavi is in her room and Karan angrily asks her you’re mourning here but you didn’t come to the funeral but I don’t care about that. He then angrily holds her arm and makes her stand up as she’s sitting on the floor in front of the bed. He says tell me why my mom shot my son. She starts crying and apologising. Karan says I don’t need any sorries from you, everyone is saying Parth shot Rio so mom shot him. But my son wasn’t like this, he couldn’t kill an ant. How could he kill Rio and why? Tell me what happened.

Vaishnavi recalls being pushed off the cliff by Parth and cries. Karan says I know they had differences only based on 2 issues - business and you. They both got a share in the business however only one brother could have you. Did this happen because of you?

She shakes her head but doesn’t say much.

Karan is furious and Nandini comes in to take him away. They go to their room and Vaishnavi is crying.

Nandini says how are you treating that girl? If we lost a girl she too lost her husband. Their lives had just begun together and Karan says and my son’s ended. Why are you pitying her she didn’t come to the funeral, her husband’s funeral. She was the only one who wasn’t there. He says she has something to do with what happened, Maa sided with Rio because of this girl too and she shot Parth for her too.

Karan asks Nandini what happened but she evades the question and says that I only know that once someone is gone, they don’t come back (Ha! Tell your FIL that, Nandini! The OG back to life hell unleasher!)

Nandini says we must care for our family and our kids, if we fall apart who would look after everyone else?

Karan says that I don’t know about others but I am shattered. I have cremated my son, everything inside of me is dead. Nandini cries looking at him but stays silent.

I am glad that Vaishnavi left the trash household.

Karan says I’ll never recover from this and Nandini watches him as he walks away. She leaves him in the room alone. Karan cries recalling Parth.

Pathetic Nandini! Trying to whitewash Parth by telling Vaishnavi to hide the truth about Parth’s behaviour!
