I have so many thoughts about today's episode. It moved me, touched me, and made me cry.
I couldn't bring myself to watch the last two episodes because the courtroom scenes were just unbearable. But today's episode was all heart.
To start with, Aprajita slapping Lalit, questioning him, and finally telling him exactly what he deserved to hear was such a dil ko sukoon moment. Sriti, as usual, absolutely aced every single scene.
At this point, Ira and Lalit are the biggest accidental shippers. Every time they try to trouble Aprajita, they somehow end up bringing Rakshit and Aprajita even closer.
But the highlight of the show so far has to be the confession, acceptance, and rejection of love.
With the promo and the usual ITV formulas, most of us expected a misunderstanding, a lecture from Appu, or some over-the-top drama. Instead, the writers completely surprised everyone.
Aprajita thanking Rakshit for making her realise that she is worthy of being loved, and in the very same breath telling him that she isn't in the emotional space to accept his love while apologising for breaking his heart... it was written so beautifully.
I genuinely can't get over how soft, mature, and comforting that entire conversation was. Like so many people have already said, it broke my heart and healed it at the same time. That's not an easy emotion to create, but this scene managed to do exactly that.
The writing deserves immense credit here. They didn't reduce Appu to a stereotypical ITV heroine who either misunderstands everything or suddenly falls in love because the hero confessed. She stayed true to her emotional journey. She acknowledged his love, appreciated it, respected his feelings, and yet chose herself because she simply isn't ready. That felt incredibly real.
And can we just appreciate Rakshit? He didn't make her feel guilty, didn't pressure her, and didn't expect anything in return. He simply loved her, accepted her decision, and stood by her. That's exactly why this love story feels so refreshing.
After today's episode, I'm genuinely looking forward to the kidnapping track. More than the action, I'm excited to see how it pushes their relationship forward. If the writing continues at this level, we're in for something really special.
