12:30 Local Time, 11:30 GMT, 17:00 IST: You couldn’t have asked for a better weekend if you’re an Ireland cricket supporter. First came the men’s team’s maiden T20I win over India, followed by the women’s team registering their first-ever victory in a Women’s T20 World Cup. What’s even more impressive is that both wins were convincing. Riding the momentum from the last couple of days, Ireland now have a golden opportunity to seal the series with another win and script history. But standing in their way is a wounded Indian side determined to hit back, level the series, and restore pride. Who will come out on top?

The weather is set to remain fair, with no interruptions expected during the game. There was enough movement on offer for the seamers in the opening T20I, and it will be interesting to see whether the pitch behaves in a similar manner today. Stay tuned for the toss and team updates…

There has been plenty of excitement around the possible international debut of teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi ever since the squad was announced. However, it looks like the wait may continue. Batting coach Sitanshu Kotak made it clear on the eve of the match that it would be unfair to “drop someone who has already been scoring runs just to give him an opportunity.” While Ireland are unlikely to tinker with a winning combination, India could make one or two changes, particularly in the bowling department, with Prince Yadav likely to make his T20I debut.

India have won the toss and have opted to field

JUST IN: We are hearing that Prince Yadav and Suryansh Shedge will make their T20I debut today.

The weather is set to remain fair, with no interruptions expected during the game. There was enough movement on offer for the seamers in the opening T20I, and it will be interesting to see whether the pitch behaves in a similar manner today. Stay tuned for the toss and team updates…
