Both sons should go off and do thani kuduthanam. Their parents should be left to tend to their own to realize how unreasonable they are.

I guess they will try to focus on how Suresh just raised his hand, but did not hit Mathi. Like how they showed him sympathetic and protective towards the other couple during the trip and towards the girls at the amusement park. Though the same sympathy he is unable to show towards his SIL or wife, or even his own sister. They already made Malar tell multiple times that Suresh is a good person, just that his BIL misleads him. They will give him that redemption arc where Mathi is the one who changed him for good. (Arache maave evlo araike porangalo) I hope Mathi makes him work hard before she accepts him. Please, no one act of saving her/protecting her, where she goes googly-eyed at him.

I was surprised that Mathi's parents were supportive; I almost expected them to tell Mathi to apologize to her in-laws. I guess the recent news would have made the show creators realize that such scenes would create a lot of backlash.

I hope the MIL gets nicely at the police station, maybe the Inspector gives some gyaan session on how to treat DILs, and asks her to apologize to Mathi. Won't happen, just wishing for it.

Ugh, keep the bar so low that you think a man merely raising his hand but not actually hitting does not qualify as bad. He is a little toddler that lacks brains of his own that he can't ask his Mama Thangaraj to STFU and do the right thing. What all these serials try to make us believe! This idiot Bhagyaraj goes and fights with his BIL about mistreating his sister, but doesn't think Malar deserves the same support when his family behaves so badly with her. He instead says random things like "namma athai, namma mama" ... idha solli solli dhaan women have been fooled and forced into putting with all sorts of nonsense. Grrr, I am so irritated. Why the hell can't Mathi just complain that she was coerced into this marriage by the thug Thangaraj and just get a divorce, get Malar one also in the bargain and leave that miserable family to keep drinking their stupid jeeraga thanni.

Yeah, thank fully. I was fully expecting another heart attack for Mathi's dad with another 2-3 episodes of Doctors coming and saying "ippo onnum solla mudiyaadhu" and Mathi's mom coming and pleading and offering to even "kaal-la vizha" to Mathi to ask mannippu to her in-laws. Mathi will finally concede, and that mannippu will do to her appa what the medicines and science could not - fix his heart problem, until the next fight between Mathi and her in-laws.

If such things happen, Vijay TV serials will get progressive and that is against the norm. What will happen to our panpaadu. Vijay TV heroines are supposed to be edhayum thaangum thyaga chemmals.

Have some shame! Why show such ideas? Yeah, Mathi said no and pushed him away, but how do you show your male lead doing the same atrocity that is being condemned in real life?
