Shivam Dube:[On Ireland posting 182/9 after looking set for a lower total] Definitely, they batted really well. Amazing batting by all of them. And I think it’s a good total. We have to bat really well to achieve this total. [On his bowling spell and what worked in the conditions] On these kind of conditions, you need to bowl on the hard lengths. So that was my plan. [On balancing his role as a genuine all-rounder] You told me I'm a genuine all-rounder, so I have to bowl. [On returning to Ireland and playing in Belfast] It’s great. We really enjoy playing in Ireland. We played in Dublin. It was really good. Now we are here… The crowd is amazing. The wicket is good. We are really enjoying this. [On being part of a successful T20 side and focusing on the future rather than past achievements] For us, it’s not important what we have done in the past. As a player, and what our coach said to us is, you have to focus on the future. What we have done is past now. We are focusing on what we can do next.

This is a superb recovery from Ireland. They were struggling on 51/4 after 7.1 overs but newly-appointed captain Lorcan Tucker led the way with a fifty. He was well supported by Delany who took over the mantle after his dismissal, smashing Prasidh for a hattrick of sixes in the death overs. Prasidh had an off day, going for 0/57 in his four overs. India's other two seamers though were very good, especially in the powerplay. Both Arshdeep Singh and the returning Harshit Rana were given three overs each to start with and they made use of the early help on offer. Ireland will hope for a similar start with the ball against a powerful Indian lineup to have any chance. Back shortly..
