I was just doing some thinking and here's the conclusion I've come to. If Cape Verde ends this game with a tie then they still have a chance at top 32. In next games, they need to win against Saudi Arabia and Uruguay needs to lose to Spain and they'll be second and through.

Neither had I. I had to go and research more about the country.

Yes. It's like they came in expecting to have it easy but then didn't expect such strong opposition.

To be fair, even we, as viewers and fans, had written off teams like Cape Verde before they even played. So it's only fair that the teams did the same thing.

Game over with a tie. 2-2. Cape Verde in 3rd and Uruguay in 2nd on board right now.
