But seeing the way people are reacting to GT right now honestly feels unfair. One bad match and suddenly everyone starts putting the team down, forgetting the entire journey they had this season. Reaching the qualifiers itself is a big achievement. It’s never easy to outperform so many teams and secure a place in the Top 4.

A single match should not decide the respect a team deserves.

Exactly. People rarely give credit to teams when they win consistently, but one loss becomes enough to question their entire journey. Every team that reaches playoffs deserves to be there luck alone cannot take you that far.

Fans feel bad because they are emotionally invested, but trolling after every defeat has honestly become very normal in IPL fandom now.
