can someone plzzz tell me wat is a rokha/haven? i didnt understand y everyone was crying when kul canceled the haven. was it something really significant to trish? 😕

well dear when parents of girls officially agree to marrige they give groom some money and they do shagun its called roka......its a punjabi tradition...it means boy has been officially promised to their daughter same is true for opposite parties ...its first step in any rishta...so is significant...in this case they were doing this ceremony in temple ..and at same time do this hindu ritual where family prays in front of fire....and some traditional mantras from holy vedas..(hindu secred books) are chanted so obviously it is very imp even t and everybody was bound to be upset it meant kul was not ready to promise trishna to raj and viceversa...

ohhhh ok thanks guys! i was so lost cuz i didnt understand y everyone was upset. i guess cuz i have no idea wat a rokha was. thanks again, it helped a lot. 😃
