I have been avidly reading here for the last 16 years, and no matter how insistent one is, I don't give anything a shot beyond a paragraph. If it catches me, it catches me. Otherwise it's gone, unless I know that writer and have great belief in their writings and I know they can't be writing rubbish.

You guys are simply wasting your time reading BS stories on such platforms and even discussing it here. Why not start reading actual stuff when you know they don't provide good stuff.

I once upon a time used to read Wattpad, stories were sensible and I was younger. Made sense. Now when I go back to read the same stuff I read back then, I can't think of tolerating it anymore. Not because it looks insensible now, but because the level of writing is way under my sensibility and I can't waste my time on all of this.

You guys should stop doing this too and start actually building your taste.

And if you point it out then suddenly you are the FL, I read a series, where the FL of one story made the FL of another story go to jail in false cases of corruption and murder and then gave the money to officials and reporters to spread fake news of her affair with her brother and Father, and then prisoners in the jail tortured her for this, some officers nearly raped her cause what difference does it make if she sleeps with them or her brother and father, she did all this because the father of that FL was involved in corruption which ended up killing people and then he bought the officials to make it seen as an accident, and the FL who did all this was lawyer of the case of those people due to which her father died and her mother cursed her with unhappiness, although her anger is justified but atleast target the right person bro, but the people were hailing her as a queen, a queen who was okay with character assassination of an innocent girl, who was mentally and physically tortured, who was nearly raped, just becuase her agenda suits that and the brother was also innocent, btw both the sisters and brother were helping the victims and trying to give them justice, and if it was not enough she married the brother forcefully by saying she will take back all the force charges then the brother gave an interview that he raped his sister to save her and in the end he also attempted suicide but who is the real queen??

I have seen in reel people were critisising that author then also she nd her bhakta defend this..

I saw one on which fl had crush on his boss who was in love with childhood sweetheart they were going to marry so fl plotted against them fake rape case attempting to kill boss would be wife bagera

So people were dissappoitned I myself report that reel but author nd her fans were defending it

I have switched to original books I can't find any good book on Wattpad used to read sci fic thriller I can't find any now

Even our Indian authors have published better love stories than Wattpad cringe saas bahu drama

There are many good Indian books that are infinitely better than wattpad. That platform has become toxic and popular for all the wrong reasons. It’s time people stopped reading those stories and giving them the attention they are trying to garner.

I never read from these clown Indian Wattpad writers I prefer translated chinese novels and other books. Wattpad once used to be a hub of talented writers but now it has become a mainstream where one can write anything trash but blind people will still hype them up

That's why I rarely I read from Wattpad underrated Wattpad was so good..

I am reading books from published author now a days... I read soft copy of them though...

One of them actually started her journey with me, here on India Forums and now has published more than 15 books of her own and none of them are the same old plot. Every book is different and some characters co-exist in multiple books making it their own universe, and oh my, how good they're written. She initially started as pure romantic plot books and now is officially stepped and fortified into a suspense romance genre and I can't stop blabbering about her work.

So when you choose to read Good work, you will find it around you. If you keep swinging in shit pothole stories, you'll keep getting them.

I am reading books from published author now a days... I read soft copy of them though...

I still do prefer soft copy versions, but now since I have got so many in hard copies, I keep dwindling between both the versions.

Good start, start with soft copies, once you'll start gaining interest, and have more access to hard copies, you might want to invest in some that are worth buying. And some don't offer soft copy versions and you need to get the book versions.

Reading soft copy will give clarity ki if I should purchase this one or not I used to read real published book earlier too but from last year I am reading more of real books
