🏏IPL 2026: PBKS vs MI, 58th Match, @ Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala on 14/05/2026 at 7:30PM IST🏏

Life was vastly different for the Punjab Kings when they last met Mumbai Indians in April. They chased down a target of 196 with 21 deliveries to spare, consigning MI to their fourth successive defeat. They were unbeaten across five games having dropped a lone point due to a washout, and would eventually get through the first half of their campaign unbeaten.
The tables have now turned dramatically though. PBKS' assortment of gunslingers with the bat masked glaring issues that surfaced in the bowling department to the extent that even 264 wasn't enough for Delhi Capitals. Now, on the back of a fourth consecutive defeat - the last of those incidentally against the Capitals - the Kings have not only slipped from the top spot they adamantly held onto but are also watching nervously over their shoulders in fourth place.
