For now Vijay has got majority and may take oath today or tomorrow..all eyes on him..if he fails to curb corruption, he is gonna face severe criticism from all ends..

Let's see if he can maintain the government for 6 months. All these guys are greedy. They are gonna demand important portfolios. How will satisfy them and his party members ? He's gonna have one hell of a time managing this all.

If he can navigate through all these party politics successfully, then we can say he's passed the test.

I won't be surprised to see President's rule in next 4 months tbh.

Yeah seems that is DMKs plan actually ..clearly cpm and vck is supporting him only for floor test itseems..they have warned vijay that they will withdraw anytime if he voices anything contradictory ..basically they want him to be mouthpiece

DMK is playing political chess lol. We should have known when CPI, CPI-M and VCK visited Stalin before agreeing to support.

If President's rule is announced, everybody loses everything, and I am damn sure Centre won't announce election for the next 7 months, because they have subsequent elections in other states. Uttarakhand, Gujarat, etc.,

Since there's basically no majority, it's within the Governor's proviso to ask the CM for yet another floor test arbitarily after some time.

If they don't vote then, the government will be dissolved, and sitting CM has to resign.

If Vijay doesn't have mandate then just ADMK. There are no permanent enemies and friends in Politics. Nitish ruled for 20 years like this. He is hailed as one of the best CMs in history of Indian politics.

It is funny how they have made the TN election of keeping BJP away, when BJP literally has only 1 seat.

Also language politics wali baat is true. Ulta, after the BJP Government came, they have stopped enforcing Hindi, ulta it was the Congress Government who was enforcing Hindi. But again, due to great PR and drama, all the blame came to BJP.

As of now Vijay is making the government, with all the other parties excluding DMK, AIADMK and BJP.

Vijay ki bajayenge yeh log. Bcoz all these small majority parties, zyada he koodti hain. He will have to put a lot of effort as a CM and also to maintain majority.

Also I don't think President Rule aayega.

Vijay has a really really tough journey ahead...These small parties would make sure to keep him on toe....

They would have specific demands for minister seats, for power...in important decision making.. Vijay will have to keep them intact along with exercising his own ideology and executing his plans and stand for the betterment of State...If he gets successful,then it would be his big triumph...

Honestly everything aside, one must get a fair chance to prove himself...but struggle would be real for him... specially in his very first major election

That's true.

@b: it will, if TVK does anything against DMK. All these parties have lended outside support which means they are liable to withdraw support at any time. He's basically walking a political tight rope. One wrong move, it'll all collapse like a pack of cards.
