There was actually a Hindu separatist movement in Bangladesh, headed by a unit called Bangabhumi. This started nearly at the time of Bangladesh separation from Pakistan. It never got Indian support and it ended around 2006.

this temple in Asansol was closed since 2011 and only opened during Durga Puja
