I am talking about season 2, Season 2 was all about Tulsi returning.. It started after Ekta got Smriti back and Mihir was just a part of her journey. Season 1 I don't think is necessary to discuss as of now and there might be many confusions on how one sees it

Again, I do not like Rio and my comment wasn't about Rio, but about this add for what you complained. This is not an old couple love story but specifically the story of a matriarch, as per the perspective of her, the most important event in her life right now isn't her remarriage with her ex husband for whom she still adorns sindoor and Mangalsootra, but the entry of a yet not known grandchild for the son whom she had murdered, so obviously the focus would be on that. Had they shown a promo Karan Nandani instead of Tuhir marriage, then your concern would have been right, but right now they are focussing on Tulsi and her equation with Rio

I dont think they are shooting actors who arent part of the show but are showing the scenes from previous season in the promo to give a continuity to S2 viewers on what happened in S1
