I don't think this is true, there is very virulent pr about Shahid complaining that won't go away. And he wasn't wrong about Padmavaat, where Khilji was shoved in your face.....the favored Ranveer did not work with slb for love and war,because he knew rk would be the favored hero....

problem with shahid is he doesn't know his limitations, yes he is a decent may be a good actor but thats about it. he has zero star power, no one wakes up and thinks i want to watch shahid movie unless something or someone else is attached to it.

Isn't Coctail thought as a movie focussing on two women? I guess, Shahid knows the script, so he knew beforhand the scale of his role. I tend to not believe that he complained.

It had been something else with Padmavat as the script reportedly got changed during shooting in favour to the Kiljii character. I also can relate that he felt a bit as an 'outsider' during filming as - understandably - SLB, Ranveer and Deepika may have formed a quite close trio because of the previous collaborations.

If I would have known your opinion about Ranveer in the details you've written now, I wouldn't have written what angered you in the other post (SRK-fan etc.).

I may not have the same opinion about Ranveer, but of course you're entitled to your own view on him.

You quoted me, so at least I want to acknowledge your comment. I may not agree to what you wrote but I certainly won't deny that Ranveer has flaws - like humans generally have flaws. You could be right or wrong with what you wrote... eventually it's Deepika and Ranveer as a couple who determine their life
