No they did not follow s1 for Karan Tanya. There is no Bhoomi. He married Tanya for Bhoomi in S1 and then had Manthan. He did not marry Tanya because he felt like marrying her in S1 as Nandini was in coma.

Her refusal stung his ego which he may not have encountered before, not so persistent and neither so strong.

The fact that she seemed spunky enough to sneak into his high security place and later aim his gun at him made him even more attracted to her.

This was about him finding her unusually strong while being unpredictable that made her appealing to him. He wanted her for that.

It was more about him wanting to dominate a strong woman one way or another.

But I really want to understand when they had so much issues in taking in Karan (they even took Karan as an enemy not caring if he lives of does) then why are they so calm in accepting Rio??

Or is like Karan was a Shanti Niketan door opener for Virani illegitimate kids
