they showed him saying if baby was girl ..him saying it is girl..then writing things about her..then them growing up and visiting qi restaurant where they met others..did they show her going to school and all ? Him coming back from military and them loving ?

Oh you meant the detailed part?? Nah... they just showed how their moms were friends and skipped going to the restaurant. I thought you were talking about the alternative ending all together

Yes that would have made a good story! These Chinese authors kill a good full lenth novel worthy story in extras

It ends with that chapter na ? Xie zheng even as a child has been a yearner

I remember in novel once he says to himself that he is jealous of song yan because he met changyu before him,earned her pity and was close to her all the time..had she met him(XZ) in childhood she would have cared for him through all his difficult years ..

extra chapters have clearly fixed it

Even though Xie Zheng was with her since day 1, he still couldn't hide his jealousy when other guys approached her while he was away from the capital

I like the novel Xie Zheng more. Especially the part (in the main story) where he clearly weighs the pros and cons but still throws all of them into the air and misses Fan Changyu

Yeah..she literally used to suck his thumb as baby 🤭 still he is whipped/ missing her/feeling jealous if she got close to others in his absence 😆

He even endured lashes and made to kneel as kid for beating up emperor's cousin for bullying her..Her maintaining distance as soon as he came back after 5 years, calling him gege everything made him mad 😆

Oh yeah!! im sucker for novel xie zheng any day

Finished: Love Beyond the Grave. I would probably been better off if I dropped this one .

Currently watching: Veil of Shadows . It is very confusing but the visuals are making me continue to watch this .
