Glad I never bought Neetus whitewash by Mannat or DK. No doubt she loves Vik and gave him good upbringing but she is not the best example of a good mother.
Mannat went to share the pregnancy news and clear Vik's misunderstanding keeping her self respect aside, but again got CAed, she and her child rejected (mu) and lost Shruti maa in the process. She fears the same thing will happen again, and this time there is Dua too. But all her pain and fears just flew over Neetu's head. If Neetu truly believes that Vik was wrong towards Mannat like she said, she should question him, would she? She only showed her real self to DK,She thinks what Vik did to Mannat was jayaaz and only DK is to blame.
Vik has the right to know Dua's truth but only Mannat has the right to share Dua's truth. Ronnie is wrong to blackmail Neetu, but she is getting a taste of her own medicine, minus the suicide attempts.
The audacity she have to put all the blame on DK when she had the biggest hand behind what happened. Everything started with her causing DK-Vik's father accident and taking Vik away. Then she was giving Vik drugs so that he does not remember his past and going around blackmailing others to hide the truth. DK lost his father and brother, grew up being blamed for no fault of his and searching for his brother. When he found Vik, he tried to remind him of his past but took time seeing his trauma. He gave up only after finding out Vishaka's truth to protect Vik from pain. He was walking away with Vishaka, leaving his brother with his happy family which includes Neetu, before the big 'dhamaka' started. DK too has been taking care of Neetu since then. Neetu is the best example of selfish and ehsan faramosh.
Even today Neetu said she is only Vik's mother, no mention of Mannat. She coaxed Dua to bring her to Vik and again almost dropped the papa bomb on 7yo Dua. She was being vile to Mannat for so long and only changed because of a necklace and Mannat was supporting her against Vishaka, yet conveniently dragged Mannat when the drug was found. She have no regards for Mannat and Dua, only using them to get Vik.
Mannat almost got swayed when Vik was being nice and helping to find Dua, but I am glad she didnt forget the ca and her past 7 year journey. She had shared her fears and issues with Vik in the past, he apologised and gave big vaada but when the time comes he made her fears come true. Why would Mannat confront him again after that?
One thing I liked about Ronnie in yesterday episode is he forgave Vik but didnt brush it off. Vik need it to learn and grow. This is where I feel Shruti faltered, she never confronted Vik for treating Mannat badly in his anger.
I am glad Mannat is only creating opportunity for Vik to meet Ronnie and Neetu, nothing more. But honestly, it would have been better if Vik had gone by himself to apologize to Ronnie and Neetu instead of them coming to him.
