I did saw the pics and was like why they didn't shot together
I don’t know much, but I’m just using my own understanding to say this in their industry, the actors who are currently doing dramas are shown together more often so that they stay in discussion among fans.
Both of them have new dramas coming out, and if fans remain too entangled with this pairing, then maybe the upcoming dramas won’t get as much publicity. 
That might be one reason, though I’m not sure ! there could be other reasons too

This shot is much better compared to many other scenes
It felt like the old camera effects from Ekta Kapoor’s serials .
Back then, that’s what we used to watch. But now, when we see those same scenes again, we end up laughing at the camera angles.
