They had him marry the girl who was Trupti’s daughter who popped out of nowhere. We never even knew she had a daughter before. Whether she is her biological daughter or not isn’t even clear iirc. But the moment she was considered Trupti’s daughter, she becomes a sister to Lakshya by virtue of her being the daughter of his stepmother.

I don’t even know why we never had her raised in SN once Saahil married Trupti. Not like Saahil had a ground to refuse to father her daughter when she was mothering 2 sons of his. It wouldn’t have even been a scandalous thing to imagine.

Frankly I don’t remember what the excuse was to explain why she wasn’t raised by her mother.

Laksh fell in love with Vaidehi who became his wife.She was Trupti’s niece,not daughter.But KT didn't love eklavya.But KT told Eklavya that she doesn't love Laksh now.But Eklavya kept suspecting them as Laksh always rang up KT to talk.Once because of suspicion eklavya slapped KT.Tulsi said that KT couldn't accept eklavya as he is a rakshas.

Lakshya didnt love Vaidehi either. Lakshya had attended his friends marriage, when the friend at the last moment decided to not marry her. Lakshya thought that this will make the girl's life a hell so he proposes to marry her and then they marry at the same mandap. This girl was Vaidehi. Lakshya married her in charity quota.

Later it was revealed that this was all a plan of Trupti. Vaidehi was kind of Goddaughter of Trupti (not even biologically related), just that she had liked Vaidehi since childhood and helped during her being raised (both financially and emotionally), so Vaidehi took Trupti as her mother (called her Badi Ma), since Trupti hated what Viranis and Tulsi did to her, she wanted to avenge and hence had this whole set up of marriage done when Lakshya's friend was to reject the girl at last moment. Trupti knew Lakshya would accept her then.

Funnily enough Trupti hated Tulsi that she caused Trupti exposed and leave SN, but in reality, the person who did that was Juhi (Gautami Kapoor's character), she was lying that she was Tulsi and as Tulsi she exposed Trupti. Tulsi didnt do anything to Trupti, yet she hated Tulsi and not Juhi

Obviously why would makers care. Had Gautami continued in the show, they might have had Juhi and Trupti join forces against Tulsi

At the wedding place they showed a song of laksh vaidehi.aankhon ki gustakiyaan.Laksh was totally fida over vaidehi.it was like love at first sight with vaidehi.not even karan had behaved so romantically with tanya. but after the romantic song suddenly he remembered kt and cried.later because of majboori he married vaidehi.but later they showed him having soft corner towards vaidehi.but by that time vaidehi got exposed and he felt hurt.vaidehi too had started falling for him.so though she tried to make him believe that she changed he didn't believe her.Thats why I do feel that laksh fell for vaidehi.otherwise why would he get lost in vaidehi and have romantic eye locks with her?
