Frankly it was not even about trusting Abhira, but rather Anita's words which Abhira also didn't trust first.. And what Kaveri had explained then is also true.. People can lie even when dying if they are desperate ( though Anita was telling truth) .. It would have been about trusting Abhira if she had said she saw Meher trying to kill Vani then and Armaan didn't believe her..But none of that was said.. Even now he didn't want to see any evidences, he trusted her the moment she told him.
