Oh i dont know this show..

his roles are mostly like this only(with zhou ye,derailment)..like attitude boy and fl girl running after him (this genre is what i hate most)

Dream of Golden Years, C drama, 36 episodes

It is a time travel drama, FL goes in past.

Loved everything about it, I am not into these many episodes drama, but I don't think I skipped much.

Best part about this drama is that yes it is FL-centric, and I love her character, but they showed every woman strong in a good or bad way and being capable of themselves.

I loved how FL was just soo strong, and not only she change her life, but she also changed the lives of all the people around her.

Her mother, I loved her character, it started as a weak, illiterate women, to a strong independent women.

ML is great but is sort of a side character. But he is just soo good.

I rarely see Chinese dramas showing good parents and aunts and uncles.

Here, except from FL's father and his family, they showed others as great.

I loved her Aunt-Uncle, they literally were gems, themselves poor, struggling to survive, but always ready to support, defend and love FL and her mother.

I loved friendships and the friends and colleagues she gained in the process of her life.

& Fl's styling and wardrobe was just soo on point, the gradual changes. Loved it

I can't stop praising and writing about this drama.

Have watched his shows earlier too, but these two are the shows where is properly ML.

By the way, the hero looks really cute in that clip. C dramas and K dramas make so many time travel stories that sometimes it feels like it could be real

Zhang Linghe’s look in Road to Glory also looks amazing.

However, for a drama to truly work, the director needs to be good. The hero is already giving his 100%, but if the production team like director, screenplay writers, and cinematographers are all strong, it will be even more enjoyable.

Let’s hope for the best. The drama probably won’t release before 2027.

The most annoying thing about Chinese dramas is that they release the trailer 8 months earlier, and then the show airs much later

I am at chapter 163 ..it is at climax where wei yan is in jail and is about to reveal everything to tutor tao..until now there is no such scene in book..

In book there is not much importance given to princess..she is mentioned only for 3-4 times..so her giving fan changyu dress is not mentioned until now..maybe xie zheng will give her beautiful dresses by the end i guess..

There is not much gongsin - princess arc(just a little mention), princess dont visit army camp, she is not caught in fire,no butcher squad,emperor doesnt propose to fan changyu ..nothing of these is in book

But i can tell you that Xie zheng hates her being dressed in any form lol..IFYKYK 😆
