Sumeet (don't remember the character name) liked Ishika and Anita was ex wife of Raman and had 2 children with him. Sumeet and Ishika though only friends raised a girl as their child who called Sumeet as dad and Ishika mom.

Later Ishika & Raman got together and Sumeet and Anita got married. So now by marriage Anita's son started calling Ishika as mom while Ishika's adopted daughter now started calling Anita as mom

Later these two got married.

So Anita now became the mother in law of her biological son and Ishika became mother in law of her adopted daughter

After sometime Anita has an accident and she forgets some years of her life, she now only remembers that she had a son and a daughter. Sumeet's adopted daughter was crying for her mother (Anita) when the nurse came and consoled her, she asks her husband (Raman's son) on who he is pateint to this girl and he says, she is her mother. Later Anita says that she isn't her daughter but the boy there is her son to which he agrees (due to her medical condition)
