Even I don`t trust makers on that precap. I hope they are showing us a real scene and they just don`t twist into Tulsi imagining that she has thrown Noina away from SN.

The imagination breaks and Tulsi just go ahead with completing the gadbandhan and the marriage finally takes place.

Generally in such situations, protagonists use the same fire in hawankund like its readymade

But this is a very auspicious fire and is deitified to represent the oath you would take as a married couple, its not a prop to vent your anger.

She didnt even use the fire from there, but took a separate matchstick.

Finally some sense and sensitivity. In S1, on the 25th anniversary day when Mihir Tulsi are supposed to get remarried, Tulsi comes into the Mandir and douses the havankund with water from a pot. Later Karan used the ashes from that pot and smeared Mihir’s face with it, the act would be repeated by Gautam later on when Mihir and Mandira’s wedding was called off and she was exposed.

It was unnecessary to be so disrespectful to both the Havankund and his father.
