To be honest, MJTY is a hard watch. Not just MJTY, all dramas from the director (FoF and VoS) are hard to watch but because of Gong Shangjue and Shanguan Qian MJTY is on my most favorite list! I just never get enough of them

I'll play favorites if you ask me in terms of the female general role, I'd say you go for Legend of the Female General. With 3 dramas with female generals last year Song Yi (Shadow Love) and Li Qin (Fated Hearts) were heavily criticized while Zhou Ye looks better in comparison.

Shadow Love is a good drama if you want to watch Cheng Lei's acting range. He pulled 3 roles in one drama. But this has supernatural elements and the best dressed character of him barely comes for 8-9 eps out of 38 eps.

I'm a little biased towards LOTFG cuz it's based on one of my favorite novels even though they changed many things from the novel I'm still biased

Yeah 🤭 and yeah legend of female general is my favorite too..Zhou ye was much better than fan changyu or fl of fated hearts

Zhou Keyu, Zhang Linghe and Jin Jing give peak chaotic siblings energy have you seen that part where JJ told that ZLH checked her pulse when he was studying TCM for TBT and got flustered when her pulse was slippery

He even checked TXW's pulse on POJ behind the cuts he picked a skill by playing HSY

Pursuit of Jade se kabhi popular ho gaya hai.

Chinese dramas on Netflix, The First Frost was the most-watched, but Pursuit of Jade has now broken that record.

Btw English dubbed wetv pe available hai.

Guys, has anyone else experienced this that once you start liking costume dramas, modern dramas don’t feel appealing anymore? Does this really happen?

I didn’t use to watch costume dramas before, but after watching Pursuit of Jade, my perception has completely changed. Now, modern dramas don’t feel as appealing anymore .
