The members of the board are very disappointed with Armaan's handling of
Gulmohar and he is asked to step down from his position as the company's president.
Jassi breaks down after the board meeting is over. She goes back to her room and packs her stuff, including the gifts and cards that she received from Armaan.
Armaan pleads with Jassi not to leave, but Jassi is firm about her decision. Jassi is walking out with her belongings when Mallika stops her and wants to check Jassi's belongings as though she were a thief!
They go to Mallika's room where Mallika empties Jassi's bag to find the gifts and cards from Armaan! Mallika is in a state of shock!
