What are you watching? #11 - Page 148

Currently watching Love Beyond The Grave. I'm a sucker for xianxia romance and I love how LBTG has been so far.

Other dramas which I tried to watch but dropped:

VOS is painted too white for my eyes to take on and idek what their plot is apart from the face cards of the leads.

POJ and How Dare You weren't really my cup of tea either but that's because of my personal preferences for certain actors.

I was really looking forward to Unveil Jadewind but ...meh... Couldn't continue the first episode either.

I somehow dragged myself through Unveil Jadewind. There's nothing 'new' but it was a decent one time watch for a revenge drama!

I loved Coroner's diary so that's one more reason I believe why Jadewind didn't appeal to me much.

There ain't any tea. I just don't find ZLH's scripts choices very good. Plus, I feel he is overrated. And for HDY, I find Churan's acting stiff. But yup, these are my personal remarks on them

Comparing Coroner's Diary and Unveiled Jadewind on what basis? Investigation? I found Coroner's Diary dull my friend loved it and I was sulking throughout!

CD had me invested unlike Jadewind. For me everything matters and it begins from the color grading itself. I believe most of the investigation dramas have the same formula. One of the leads has got the brains and the other has got the strength and somehow everything ends in their favor. So, I don't bother about the investigation part much. Plus, it's not a genre I really prefer to watch unless I like the actors. Which I did. I do like the cast of both CD and Jadewind. But I prefer CD because it made me sit through it unlike Jadewind which couldn't grab my attention. Maybe if I plan to catch up Jadewind again in future then maybe my opinions could change but for now, i like CD more.

And no. I didn't like whatever was going on in Overdo's trailer. It's too much for my taste and ofc, I skip the actors'

Yes, give Unveil Jadewind another try! It's not the best, but it's not a 'skip it' drama either. BL's new drama is dropping this June, having plans to follow it?

Strange Tales of Dynasty series is superior to the other costume crime dramas despite having less well known cast.
