No issue if they highlight Ravan was a Shiv Bhakt, scholar and was powerful enough to defeat Kuber… they should also know that they shouldn’t exaggerate his achievements too much too to project him as someone whose downfall was only owing to one thing.

Ravan had violated a lot of women in his life and was cursed owing to the same. So much is made up of how he never tried to force himself on Maa, but he was cursed by then that if he dares force himself on another woman again, regardless of how many times his head regenerates, they shall all explode killing him eventually. He tries his best to intimidate Maa Sita using every tactic and trick to accept him.

After successfully whitewashing Karna, we will now whitewash the ultimate evil guy Ravana....Nice!

I am dreading the reels that will be made on Ravana's 'swag'...his entry song....his kasaiunama dialogues....smiley22

Hiring a popular star like Yash and giving Ravana bigger presence than Ma Sita in the teaser and titles, it shows where the makers are heading....

I wonder if Ramayana will be able to recover its cost.

Why will people pay to watch a story which they have seen multiple times since childhoodsmiley5

true. I almost ended up liking Akshay Khanna's character in dhurandhar due to those reels. Even though he was a terrorist.

The issue isn’t if people are willing or not owing to their familiarity with the story. It’s that the producer himself thinks that the movie is going to be considered a success if only Timmy from US, Tom from Canada and Timothy from UK think it’s good.

I doubt the goal is even recovery of funds. The production house also owns the VFX and AI company working on the movie. They’re scaling up the budget to hype it up but so far it’s nothing extraordinary.

This is a massive money laundering scam combined with the chance to make some money from a showreel meant to promote the work of the new company that the producer has bought to showcase their skills to Hollywood studios as a VFX and AI company.

The more these people talk about the project somehow the worse it gets.

Akshay Khanna was purposely built up to ultimately make sure that when Hamza kills him the payoff is satisfying. That his eventual rise in ranks makes sense in the sequel.

Similarly, the intentional downgrade of Iqbal played by Arjun in the sequel is meant to show that for all the things that these people make themselves out to be internally they’re hollow, weak, pathetic and their true bravado only shows in the face of someone who is either weak or alone. Arjun’s Iqbal can kill an Indian spy because he’s in charge there, when he ultimately kills his father it’s also when he himself gets frustrated by the constant rambling and humiliations subjected to him by a man who himself turned out to be a coward and a traitor. In the end when he finally realises that he can’t last against Hamza in a fight, he tries to make a run.

In the end as he’s getting killed he’s still mouthing lines as if it’s his victory speech but Dhar makes sure that he doesn’t even get to complete saying Zindabad and his death is shown by fire rather than allowing him a chance of getting buried. Without a proper burial apparently you don’t get those 72 virgins that are the end goal of all these monsters.
