One of my fav things abt Maher is the fact they use their brains even when there’s people plotting against them. Sure Seher did misunderstand mahids relationship with nazima but thing is she saw it with her own eyes so she can’t make up any other explanation and Kausar’s words abt their relationship might have added to that. Last time I had seen a couple in itv who weren’t falling for MU were lead couple from Ek boond ishq which was a breath of fresh air from all the separation due to MU happening. Since I haven’t been really following ITV since few years I am not sure abt others. Coming to last weeks episode both Maher knows abt nazima and phuphi and I am glad seher said all the things that happened to her due to them. I am sure mahid is smart enough to know nazima but he has been blind towards his aunt probably due to the fact she raised him and he respects her. I felt the age thing was necessary since now all the truth regarding seher is known to mahid. And promo was misleading he was more guilty than angry for what happened. I know lot of culture normalises getting married at 16 but truth is once ur married ur life isn’t the same anymore it’s lose of innocence and more responsibilities and to be married to niyazi family it would have been added responsibility. I feel mahid has been affected by how his mother said she felt caged so he might not want to go through it again with seher and wants her to make the decision when she’s a bit older. I know lot of people criticise kausar but truth is she doesn’t want her daughter facing the same fate as her. We have seen parvez being cruel to them but from the flashbacks during her pregnancy I think he would have been better had it been a son instead of daughter. Maybe they even had good times like adamganj trip during her pregnancy. He’s actually nicer to Safiya and even though he gets angry he doesn’t physically abuse her like kausar. So for kausar the most important thing is to make seher financially independent and falling in love with mahid might actually distract her from her goals. Also she has seen how mahid’s family has treated them and she knows in future there are chances of them kicking seher out of the house by creating misunderstanding. Even though mahid has been supportive I am sure she has her doubts due the fact the kind of family he belongs to. Add to that his mothers death and his temper that she witnessed she might not want seher to turn into another kausar stuck in an abusive marriage and kid once the honeymoon phase passes. Even in the post picnic episode when she shows seher her wounds and says how she doesn’t care abt it any longer as her mission is to get seher educated. This is another thing abt bad marriages when women stay back. it can do more bad than good. Kausar doesn’t really care abt her own feelings instead focusing on one thing which which seher becoming a doctor and she will want every hurdle removed even if it means breaking sehers heart. For her that is the most important thing now.

From the bts it seems everyone is celebrating Eid since all are dressed up I wonder how they come back to niyazi manzil since mahid won’t bring her back and there was an article on IF saying seher find mahids moms diary which shows she didn’t commit suicide.unless seher comes back to niyazi manzil how will she find the diary. Also parth had commented there’s no two year leap on some post I think. I have always suspected mahids moms death has some secret. I feel Chacha tried to ruin her image and even might be reason for mahids parents marriage turning sour. Even in fb he was instigating dada huzoor against her. I think he succeeded with phuphi and others cos phuphi seems to consider mahid as her own so I doubt she would do something to hurt him. Maybe chacha thought not having his parents around there would be more chances of him getting everything once dada huzoor passes away.

The show has to have some balance in 2026; to me the families are super conservative where as the male lead and female lead aren't.

Today’s episode was okay. Seher and Kausher are back home. Mahid is fulfilling his promise. Parvez as usual selfish, Kausher was better (or I should say satisfied) today as her daughter (her only hope) is with her now. Phuphi and Nazima got punishment but I don’t think they have changed a bit. Phufi is relaxed that Seher is out and new entry Haider is coming to solve all the problems.Chacha as usual busy with his tricks. Maher scenes were less but they were missing each other. 15 days leap and Chand Mubarak, Aww! They wished each other through kites. Tomorrow will be Eid episode and Mahid said he won’t go anywhere but I hope they will meet 🤞🏻🤞🏻

PS: Parvez got tight slap from Mahid. I know he is not a good person and was hurting Mahid by giving him tight hug but still he is elder so I didn’t like that scene.

All these build up and seperation just for a 15 days leap?!

2 years ka leap de dete at least all those age controversy and stuff would have stopped.

They could have shown Seher prepping for her 12th instead.

But that slap Mahid gave to Parvez was damn satisfying My no.1 wish in this show’s bucket list got fulfilled

In KG, Meryem did not misunderstand Cuneyd. He always treated her with respect and she understood that he was different from her husband Naim. She wanted Zeyneb to study because Zeyneb is shown as some kind of genius. Levent's father a retired physics professor recognised her talent. Meryem also recognised Zeyneb was in love with Cuneyd much before Zeyneb did.

I noticed KG esp CunZey fans also hated Meryem too but not as much as MaHer fans hates Kausar usually. But yeah I agree Meryem understood Cunayed better compared to Kausar , like she didnt even try to understand Mahid. However just like Meryem, Kausar did notice Seher developing feelings for Mahid before Seher herself. And that got Kausar paranoid cause she thinks Seher will sacrifice her dreams once she is in love with Mahid

Also I hope this show doesnt follow the track of the OG’s S2 cause I didnt like the storyline in S2 in OG. A lot of cliche track and some were like crazy 💀 . I had mixed feelings about the last episode of the show too.

April 6th Episode

We are going to be on a roller coaster of emotions for the foreseeable future. I’m thrilled that Nazima, Phufi and Parvez got put in theirplace. That slap was so satisfying yet nearly not enough. Parvez needs a proper beating.

Mahid is setting the bar so high. He is keeping the promiseshe made to Seher. It reminds me of their conversation on walima night; Seherwanted to be free and fly like the kite and he told her that there is alwayssomeone controlling the string. I still think that Mahid is her anchor in the futurebut for now he is maneuvering the kite so it can fly high.

Seher is putting up a good front, but you can see theoverwhelming pain in Mahid. The scene when he is behind the tree and thatexhale. I had to take a deep breath. When the grief and pain is that overwhelmingand that deep exhale because you can’t scream or cry.

Happy to see Mahid’s brain is back to being fully aware ofhis surroundings. He stopped being hyper aware and always on guard when Seherwas around because she was his home, his safe place. And now that she is gone,he has nothing else to focus on except his surroundings.

I don’t know how Mahid is going to survive in Niyazi Manzil;everything is going to remind him of Seher. Even the kheer. ☹

Them wishing each other Chand Mubarak made me emotional.

A few weeks ago, I read somewhere that Mahid fell in lovefirst but Seher fell harder. That may be true, but Mahid fell deeper. I don’t thinkwe realized how deeply he cared for her till she was gone; how much she is partof his soul.

The angst is real.

Not sure how I feel about this Haider character; looks to besomeone Phufi knows so could be benevolent but most likely malevolent.

The precap is interesting. I missed Asad. I’m glad he seeswhat his sister is going through, and he knows Mahid well enough to tell her togo stay with him. He is an awesome little bro.

Now we need Tahir and Asad to team up. #TeamMaHer
