I thought Seher aimed Muslim viewers. It is a remake of a Turkish show. So it has to follow the same plot. They made changes, but the plot is the same.

I agree on the lack of chemistry between Apurva and Mahi. But I like them separately. They do good job.

Also agree that violence and maybe underage marriage (romance) might have been the reason behind its low TRPs.

But there are many good shows which are good and liked by fans, but lost TRPs game because of tough competition.

Last year Star Plus dramas dominated. This year Zee TV is competing with it, and winning some slots. So Colors dramas have to compete with both the channels.

From what I seen Muslim audience actually liked this show, especially the ones from Muslim countries. I watched some clips and Epi of the Turkish version, rare case where I liked the remake version more. OG version was too dark I feel and even more controversial. Also they kinda ruined it in S2 I felt with cliche tracks. They showed more bold stuff there, Indian audience won't have accepted it.

However, there Mahid/Cunayed character was more soulful, I love both versions of Mahid for diff reasons. Yeah they made some changes like in OG version Seher and Amaal were twins, and Mahid’s father was alive and a very disgusting character. Sultana’s character didn't exist there. Safia was more serious than comical.

Honestly as for Apurva and Mahii I feel their chemistry had potential but they didn't have much scenes together. Plus with Sultana still in the picture very very weird to root for Dr Fareed and Kausar.

April 3rd Episode

There was a whole different set of emotions in this episode.A good portion had me raging thanks to our supporting cast. I’m just tired oftalking about them at this point.

The MaHer scenes were beautiful and heartbreaking.

Seher has never seen Mahid physically vulnerable; he is theone that breaks things not the one to be broken as she said. She startedwalking away then just couldn’t; she couldn’t bear to see him in pain. Forsomeone in massive amounts of pain, Mahid’s grip was firm. He never needed hiseyes to find her; his heart already had. Seher’s comment about his firm grip, Zindagiatki hai, which is accurate; his life is stuck on hers.

I have always loved Tahir, but I love him more and more eachday. He is a true friend. He really understands what Mahid is going through andtries to protect him.

When Kausar snatched Seher hand out mercilessly flung Mahid’s;that was hard to watch. Seher kept staring at her hand as she walked away. Afinal mark on her from Mahid, I bet she wondered. Her comment that she promisedto be a doctor and a stone was fire. She will not lose her empathy for peopleeven Mahid; partially because I don’t think she has been able to reconcile whatshe saw versus what she knows.

Mahid was also on fire as soon as he woke up. He refuses tolet his Phufi touch him. He also very quickly put Nazima in her place. PoorNazima, she doesn’t know Mahid’s heart doesn’t belong to him anymore thereforeshe has nothing to win.

Final thought: These OTP that people write stories and booksabout; they are rare in real life. This is why couples like MaHer are sobeloved. It’s the magic of love. They can sense when the other is near or in MaHer’scase, the sensation of touch even from when you are unconscious. He didn’t see her,but he knew without a doubt she was there and exactly where she touched him.Some profound connects them.

No the family being horrible and her worry for Seher I get. Kausar's first issue is with Mahid. And I agree that she has only seen the harsh side of him and even that worry I understand. BUT Seher has said over and over that Mahid has another side that she has witnessed and how he takes care of her; even Kausar has seen him protect Seher so may be give him benefit of the doubt that the one version she saw of him isn't the only one.

Kawsar doesn't want Mahid to save her daughter. Mahid is a nobody to her, as her only concern is her baby girl, the only girl she could give birth and keep alive , she has no idea about Amal. Is she self concerned? Yes she is. Without Seher she has none , why she wouldn't be? By hook or crook all she wants is to protect Seher, do everything to make Seher's dream come true. I think as a mother she is awesome. Every girl deserves a mother like her. Sp her father Parvez is a monster. I guess now Mahid will see a new mother in Kawser. May be this will heal him from that toxic environment of his family. From no angle that fupi is a mother material as she claims. Mahid must come out from that lady.

I totally get what you are saying about Seher dreams and by hook or crook. But at some point you have to let your kids begin making decisions so they can stand on their own two feet. i get she is still 16 but at 16 I was working if nothing else at least listen to what Seher has to say. Kausar was very well written early in the show but not it feels like it's either her way or she shuns Seher or whoever doesn't agree to what she wants.

Phufi is a horrible mother but I can't see Kausar becoming a second mother to Mahid or anyone anytime soon.

Iss week mahid ko sab reality pta chal gyi. Next week seher ki misunderstanding dur honi chahiye. I m all ok woth separation between mahid and seher . But it should be mutual . She shouldn't suffer in pain by thinking that mahid cheated on her .
