between the beating of drums and cry for war we see prithviraj chauhan . the character of young prithvi has been playe by rajat tokas from delhi whereas the yuva prithviraj chauhan will be played by anas rashid of pnjab . after having been in the character for 1 1/2 yrs rajat has handed this character over to anas . rajat says " how do u feel when u hand over a precious thing of yours to sumone else...................but i have been in the character 1 1/2 yrs and now i want to live rajat's life . after the young prithvi turning into yuva prithvi how long will the serial continue . to this minakshi sagar present there replied " the serial is based on prithviraj raso and the serial will continue till we continue getting content . rajat has set an image of prithviraj chauhan . wat problems will this cause to anas . to this anas replied " it will surely be a little difficult to change the image rajat has set of prithviraj chauhan . in the first few episodes i will have to follow rajat but later i am sure ppl will recognise anas rashid as prithviraj chauhan . watever it is but both the prithviraj's have not had any extra training . watever they learnt in school , college or heard on the sets is all they r using to potray prithviraj chauhan . the serial dharti ka veer yodha prithviraj chauhan is being aired fri - sun 9 pm

the sas bahu sagas have so much control in the worl of television that making sumthin on a new topic is difficult and such programs are rarely spotted . but in the past few days star plus and zee tv have brought in sumthin new ravan on zee and dharti ka veer yodha prithviraj chauhan on star plus . these characters have been taken from mythology and history . on one hand imaginig a better khalnayak than ravan is not easy whereas imagining a more trustworthy brave and courageous king than prithviraj chauhan is also not easy . viewers of dharti ka veer yodha prithviraj chauhan were so happy with rajat tokas the young prithviraj chauhan that his role was extended frm 2-3 episodes to over 70 episodes . even though ravan is a successful program the trp's have still not been that succesful for ravan as for prithviraj chauhan . but both the serials r very succesful and the creative team has not left any stone unturned to make them so . ravan is nearing its climax but prithviraj chauhan is already a hit this maybe cz the viewers like prithvi's josh more than ravan's courage . but there is no doubt that these two have really broken the barriers of the telly world and have made their place . moreover after the success of ramayan and mahabharat it looks as if the taste of the ppl is changing .
