Deep Breaths. Big deep breaths.

I’m going to start with others before I talk about MaHer.

This will be all CAPS lock because yes, I’m yelling. I WANT ALL OF THE SUPPORTING CHARACTERS TO GO AWAY FROM THE SCREEN FOR A LITTLE WHILE. Tahir and Asad can stay; the rest need to go else I’ll break my screen.

What a horrible group of people. Parvez is a scum yet somehow, I was shocked at how much lower he could fall, worrying about 21lakh mahr. Wasim is just as vile. How can we forget the two award winning mothers. Phufi who is constantly mera bacha mera bacha. Yet it did not register to her that within hours of Seher leaving he was in the hospital, unconscious. Even with his past anger etc. this has never happened. On the other hand, we have Kausar; I swear on all things holy I somehow loath her more each episode. Her child is in pain and all she can yap about is her school. There is a time and place for everything. And I swear I saw a small smile on her face when Seher asked her to wipe the Mahid book from her life. Your kid is getting treated and instead of worrying about that she is worried about school. Also Seher left for few hours before and this was her condition yet remember when she told you, he doesn't even let a thorn touch my feet? UGH. Maybe focus on her emotional well-being, so she is well enough to take her exam. UGH. I just hate them all.

Nazima needs to jump off something and again I swear on all things holy if they even hint at Mahid/Nazima track; I will start a campaign to shut that down so fast.

Now let’s talk about our babies. It took me 45 minutes to watch this episode because I couldn’t watch the beginning. There were floods of tears, covering my eyes and clenching my fist in pain and anger.

Everyone keeps saying Seher is free from her cage but I’m sure she never felt caged with Mahid. Yes, there were issues with his family members but never him. I have this before that if you husband in your corner then you will be fine in a home where all of you in-laws don’t like you. This is true in real life as well because you know he will stand up for you and care for you.

Even in pain they are so synced, remembering the same moments. The aesthetics of those two parrels scenes were gorgeous. In Seher memories, Mahid is the color and in his she is color of life. They paid for their love with blood. They are in pain together and they collapsed together.

This show has some great parrels and you all know I love some good parrels. I could have done without this one, etched and covered in their blood. All of their moments are now tainted. These horrible people took something pure and simple and turned it into a weapon and a crime. All of their emotions have been weaponized; Seher’s has turned into nafrat (hate) and Mahid’s into nasoor (open wound).

I have horrible streak of guessing on a show or a movie and being spot on. I had said the last few days he was going to do something crazy. I was not expecting this kind of self-punishment. He is so disgusted with himself for what he perceives as a crime. He is against underage marriage, but he was unaware; it was out of his control. Yet this man holds himself to such a high standard that he became his own judge, jury and executioner.

Mahid’s conversation with Tahir was heartbreaking. This man holds the world’s pain in his heart. He is so firm about his principles that he will destroy even himself to uphold them. I really really need Tahir to stick around more regularly. May be take Mahid to his home because I don’t want him in Niyazi Manzil. Everything is going to remind him of Seher and he will continue to torture himself.

On a side note, a little note for Mahid - Honey, she is 16 not 11 or 12. 16 year old girls understand things. It not like you were married to a child, she is almost an adult. (I'm not condoning child marriages) Just making a point that she is almost an adult not a preteen who doesn't understand good touch vs. bad touch.

The hospital room scene was hard to watch. Seher felt off as she soon as Mahid was wheeled into the room. Her blood pressure rose.

Both them fell so hard and fast in love that unfortunately they didn’t see the crash coming. They are in each other’s soul. First word in the morning out of Mahid’s mouth is Seher, unconscious it’s still Seher.

The precap is somehow just as sad. I am hoping Tahir will come in and tell Seher how Mahid ended up there, but I have a feeling it will be Phufi or Nazima. UGH.

I wish this Nazima misunderstanding gets cleared up so they both get some peace. In the future, I hope Seher learns the real reasons for the scars on Mahid’s back; and he learns about hers. I know these shows at some point gloss over these past moments, but I think it provides a core understanding and it will bond them further.

In conclusion, without saying there were a lot of tears today. I hope we move past this a bit quicker because I can’t watch them torture themselves. I’ll take angst and yearning but torture is hard to watch.

Parvez is cheap , but when he is less violent he is entertaining. 😁

I too hope they cut this track short as it hurts to see Maher torturing themselves. However as you said. Their love became stronger now as they are etched by blood. They share the same soul, and heartbeat. Nothing can separate them, even distance and time. They'll keep returning to each other

I don't watch a lot Indian serials but once in a while they will suck me in. 10 or may be 13 years ago it was Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. My friend and I really got into it. Then they started introducing dumb storylines, the creators essentially called fans stupid and he doesn't listen to them. The male lead left. So single handedly my friend and I started rallying the troops and started a trending twitter campaign (yes I'm that old lol). We were writing fanfics, edits the whole nine yards for this show and all of is on IF here. After that this is the other Indian serial that has pulled me back in.

Honestly speaking I enjoy these love stories, love and hate, push and pull; the standard tropes. I can't watch most of them because they loose logic so fast and turn into a Ekta kapoor saas bahu saga.

Let's see how i fair with SHKH long term. I do love the show and I will say I'm here for MaHer; it was their charm that pulled me in.

I agree, there is a lot inaccuracies about Islam. I think they have taken some creative liberties to suit the story.

Mahid was so shocked by the revelation of her age and the gunah he created he was emotionless and numb. I think that's why he didn't say anything but you look he turns and asks Nazima if this is true. When he is whipping himself and the tears that the first realization of everything.

I'm glad Seher is out that environment too but I don't Kausar is any less toxic so she has traded one cage for another. Whatever people will say about Mahid but he was always on Seher side even when he was angry with her. He always put her first.

I too was obsessed about Madhubala. But not when it was on air. Yes .. I came to IF for Junoon, but not of Madhubala.. it is the other show starring : Mount Roy.

But when Madhbala dubbed in Arabic and aired on TV here. It got me hooked. I am not young any more, still those hate love stories catch my interest. I also like those friendship com love stories too.. like here Mahid and Seher shared this friendship and deep understanding which turn into love. 😍

There were some dramas about Muslim families. I wasn't obsessed about them even though I liked the couple of Ishq Subhan Allah. That's because it was preachy. And you can side with the FL only. Here in Seher you love them both. 💞

I see it now. Kausar is another toxic person. It is like she wanted to become a doctor, not her daughter. I know she loves her , but she underestimates her feelings towards Mahid. She thinks that by driving her to complete her studies she is helping her to pass this period in her life.. and will forget Mahid sooner.

The recent episodes got this forum a bit active good to see that! 😊 The last it was active was during MaHer’s Nikkah and now during MaHer’s divorce. Hopefully trp will increase next week cause this week’s episode was actually quite good!!! Apart from Seher still misunderstanding Mahid as a two-timer I kinda liked everything else this week. Tbh this seperation was needed for the two to have a fresh start when Seher is of mature age. Loved how Seher just told off Nazima and Fupijaan and Mahid also was strong in his stance against underage marriage.

Friends, if you don’t want to increase your Blood pressure then I would suggest to skip Friday’s episode. Only three scenes I liked: 1. Maher’s connection: Aww! Even though he was unconscious he didn’t let go of Seher 🤗 2. Mahid confronting Nazima and clearly mentioning that ooska kuch nhi hone wala” lol. He also understood that she did something and so Seher was furious (1min scene but the best part of today’s episode)❤️ 3. Farid and Amal punishing Pervez but who leaves the door open 🙄 Rest of the episode increased my blood pressure phuphi and Kausher are intolerable.Overall it was a filler episode, hopefully Monday should be a dhamakedar episode as he is going to roast phuphi and Nazima together 🤞🏻

I wish they made Fareed's track more interesting.

This is the Mahid I want to see. I am waiting to watch him roast those evil women. 😈

I hate Colors for giving this timeslot to Seher. I too believe if it has an earlier times lot it would've gained more TRPs.

Any other show which got this timeslot ended up failing to compete with Kyun Ki..

I really loved Beintehaa a lot which came in the same channel too! I liked Zain and Aliya’s nok jhok. Ironically the show was concept was supposs to show about triple talaaq and halala nikkah but that turned out to be the worst track of the show. But they ended it before ruining the show further.

I watched Qubool Hai midway but heard the intial episodes were good so wont be able to say much. I liked Asad-Zoya and later Aahil-Sanam’s chemistry but story didnt impress me as much.

Ishq SubhanAllah never watched a single episode properly but whatever I saw in promo I thought the way FL wore her Hijab was very accurate compared to the other shows.

There was another Muslim show on Colors and it was about polygamy or something. Cant fully recall the name. I liked the initial episodes then it got really weird.

Now I am watching Seher and honestly this has been my fav ITV Muslim drama so far. It is a close one between Seher and Beintehaa. But I hope they dont ruin this one. Some inaccuracies but they showed some stuff really well like the Sehri custom, the leads praying Namaz etc. Not sure I can if they represented a Mufti family well but they represented Indian Muslim family well enough cause my Indian Muslim friends dress like that too.

Seher has same timeslot as Anupamaa another trp topping show. I watched both these show causually cause she watches Kyunki is okay but there is just something different about Seher.

Initially my mom prefer Kyunki but nowadays she prefers Seher

Also funny thing is my fav character is Kausar(but I just wish she understood Mahid is a good person) but my mom’s fav is MaHer

Whatever she said about marriage and fertility and need of being self-independence is correct. I dont agree with all her plans but she genuinely wants the wellbeing of her daughter and doesnt want her to compromise her dreams while taking care of her husband. And she saw Seher’s in-laws in negative light mostly, had Mahid’s family being supportive she probably won’t have been that worried. But I dont like how she misunderstands Mahid and also she should understand her daughter’s mental health comes first before her studies.

I loved one dialogue of Seher : “Maine doctor banne ki kasam khayi h, patthar banne ki nhi” that’s exactly her mom has turned into “patthar”.

I feel so bad about the low TRPs our show is getting. I just don't get it. How can people not fall for such an aesthetically shot serial? Why are people's tastes so bad???? What drew me to the show was the sheer poetry I was watching and hearing on the screen, the leads mesmerizing, each shot so aesthetically composed. It really pisses me off when sheer drivel attracts the highest TRPs!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! Even today's episode is sheer poetry even though it has PAIN written all over it.

It doesn't have any clear targeted audience that is the problem. Only Parth fans are watching, but not all. Parth fans are usually from MTV , that means youth based fans. This serial is nothing close to youth. All these times they only showed Seher cooking ..cooking ...cooking. Fupi bitching and Mahid accusing Seher. There were few romantic moments.

Maker is doing these to bring senior audience. But senior audience does not like these fights of Mahid, nor a 16 year acting like auntyjee.

Sorry to say they should have taken some attractive looking actress as Kawsar. Mahi is a good actress. But she looks like 55+. According to serial she can't be more than 16+16+1/2=33/34. Tejo, Hina etc are at that age. Clearly she can't be a match with Apurva. Although Apurva is old , but Mahi and he just don't match. Now what is left to watch for the senior audience? Kawsar and Parvez ka fight is one sided and it really hurts to see those nonstop violence.

At first I used to think the timing of the telecast is wrong. But now the way they are promoting violence on TV( every episode fight, self harm etc) I think the timing is right. None wants to see this violences. Sp they are running 2 violent serials back to back. Another one is MAS. They want audience they should at least cut these violence scenes. This is TV , not movie.
